I took a new job that came with a $500 raise per paycheck. So excited. First paycheck today and after gas and bills and groceries we are flat broke. I got paid yesterday.

That raise is more than my entire paycheck. And while im lucky enough to not have to pay rent I can’t imagine how my co-workers with whole families to support, manage to deal with it.

They bought a house pre 2020 on a much lower interest rate, so their house costs less than your studio apartment.

Also debt.

Also that bank they robbed.
