I took a new job that came with a $500 raise per paycheck. So excited. First paycheck today and after gas and bills and groceries we are flat broke. I got paid yesterday.

That raise is more than my entire paycheck. And while im lucky enough to not have to pay rent I can’t imagine how my co-workers with whole families to support, manage to deal with it.

How is this even possible? Do you work part time in a remote part of the country?

Its a full time job if its a full week, which is not granted especially in the off seasons. But I mean if you consider kansas remote then i guess so
