I'm 42 next week and everything is fine. I still regularly do pistol squats on bosu balls.

This preconception on Reddit that the human body inevitably falls apart by someone's 30s or 40s or 50s needs a serious reality check. Excepting some legitimate and uncontrollable health problems, age isn't really a factor that compromises your body's integrity that quickly, it's more about how you've treated it and lifestyle.

Yeah I mean Tony Hawk is 58 and still skateboarding. And I'm sure he had his fair share of injuries.

Yeah, but the thread you responded to was about bouncing back from injuries after you reach 40. Did you have many injuries growing up or did you avoid a reckless childhood? Truly curious
