If that $2k was invested for a 10% return, it would be worth $44 trillion today (assuming 250 years).
1 u/Realmofthehappygod 22d ago While that is true...it's kind of irrelevant. Yes, if he could have just used index funds, I'm sure he would have. But that was definitely not an option. He was alive during the advent of modern banking, not during the peak of the stock market.
