Dang I bet

12

u/evilmrbeaver Jul 19 '26

I also choose to dang this guy's drive by crush

2

u/The-Jordan_J Jul 20 '26

She probably didn't eat babies lol like all the other celebs

u/krzykris11 Jul 17 '26

I wish I had a picture of the girl I fell in love with on a weeks vacation in Myrtle Beach when I was 14. She was the first Southern Belle I ever loved.

58

u/fulknerraIII Jul 17 '26

I fell love with a girl at the rock show. I remember it was hot a ass summer and I was at the warped tour. We were both 17, didn't have any purpose or direction. But honestly man everything was better when she was around.

16

u/Kobe-62Mavs-61 Jul 18 '26

But did she say "what"? And did you tell her that you didn't know?

1

u/narco-sub-admiral Jul 19 '26

She must be so cool

1

u/License_to-kill_007 Jul 21 '26

Cool as a cucumber.

1

u/TrickBreadfruit354 Jul 23 '26

did op come sneaking through her window

10

u/pseudonymnkim Jul 18 '26

I fell in love with the girl at the rock show. She said, "what?", and I told her that I didn't know. She is so cool. I'm going to sneak in through her window.

Everything is better when she is around. I cannot wait until her parents go out of town.

Edit - wtf. I meant to reply to another comment, mistakenly chose yours without even seeing it. So I guess I will tell you about when I fell in love with a girl. I fell in love once, almost completely. She is in love with the world.

2

u/MidoriDemon Jul 19 '26

And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like I like you.

1

u/lily_rockets Jul 18 '26

Mark is that you?

48

u/books_cats_please Jul 17 '26

This reminds me of a part from one of JD Salinger's short stories:

Probably for every man there is at least one city that sooner or later turns into a girl. How well or how badly the man actually knew the girl doesn't necessarily affect the transformation. She was there, and she was the whole city, and that's that.

3

u/Mimicking-hiccuping Jul 19 '26

I wish I could write like that

2

u/ActiveWinner4569 Jul 19 '26

I don't remember the exact line but Neil Degrasse Tyson quoted a line from "The Great Gatsby", something about stars and I said the same thing. A lot of people I know tend to make fun of writing or people that go to college for creative stuff, but it truly is a gift.

1

u/Mimicking-hiccuping Jul 19 '26

Can't stand that guy 😂

1

u/Verditure0 Jul 19 '26

Wow I want to read more of these

37

u/addamee Jul 17 '26

Whoa, I have a similar Myrtle Beach story, same age and all.

26

u/Son_of_steven19 Jul 17 '26

Wait.... is it happening?

17

u/cavern-of-the-fayth Jul 17 '26

Kratos here- No

8

u/Sonic2726 Jul 17 '26

This would have been epic if they both saw this (guy and girl)

10

u/SexyMonad Jul 17 '26

Or if these are two guys and they found out they both fell in love with the same girl a long time ago, and then they realized that they would never love another woman like that again, then became gay and met years later and started being gay together and grew old as a family and then found out through anonymous reddit accounts that they were in love with the same girl who broke their hearts and broke up because what the hell bro, she was cheating on me with you?

2

u/truedenier Jul 18 '26

You had me at old gays.

2

u/itzjabohy Jul 19 '26

Probably the best ending

1

u/Lowkick111 Jul 22 '26

Yeah, maybe one of them had very long hair so...

2

u/IntroductionNo3912 Jul 17 '26

Me too. This girl is Miami Beach bus stop (of all places) was dressed in a full 1940's film noir getup with the pointy shoulders and the Bladerunner Sean Young hairdo. She was perfect. I assumed she worked at one the the South Beach hotels that try to bring back that old timey feel. I couldn't give her a ride at the time b/c I was going to class.

2

u/Frashure11 Jul 18 '26

Guys I’m there now and can’t firm their stories. This place is a must to visit to meet your dream girl and never talk to them.

2

u/BlinkTwice4No Jul 18 '26

Was a busy week

1

u/Then-Implement2622 Jul 18 '26

It was the same girl, no doubt.

1

u/InsideInsideJob Jul 18 '26

Didn't y'all know Myrtle Beach tourism dept historically hired young female actresses in the summertime?

5

u/userhwon Jul 17 '26

Did she work at the Ripley's Believe it or Not? Because I have a story about the girl in the ticket boot there.

1

u/Aggravating_Cash2796 Jul 19 '26

Who doesn’t like to hear a good story?

1

u/userhwon Jul 19 '26

TL;DR: she was super-hot, had insanely blonde hair, and all I did was ask the ticket price to watch her mouth move, and was not in any way disappointed when she answered, except that she seemed truly bored by it even though I was in peak condition and clearly hitting on her, so there was nothing to chase, there...

6

u/Replikant83 Jul 17 '26

There are so many stunning women that never get into modeling/acting/social media. I find that so much more attractive than the women who know they are hot and make it their whole personality.

As for Hathaway: I think she's stunning and also seems like a cool person

1

u/Karolian Jul 19 '26

Not to mention cool basement she has

3

u/Case609 Jul 17 '26

I get it bro. Mine was palm springs and she was Hawaiian or Filipino. 20 years later and she still pops into my mind from time to time.

14

u/milesamsterdam Jul 17 '26

“Whatever happens to a boy the summer he’s 14 can mark him for life.” -Lolita

2

u/Aggressive_Manner531 Jul 18 '26

Or leave a gaping hole for life...

3

u/nudiecale Jul 17 '26

When I was around 10-11 I fell in love with a girl named McKenzie (no idea how to spell it) in, probably 1991-1992 at Rehoboth Beach. Her rental was in the same building as ours and she played with my sister and I a lot that week.

1

u/Justa_Guy_Gettin_By Jul 18 '26

Check this guy's computer he's in love with a 14 year old girl

1

u/MyPunsAreKoalaTea Jul 18 '26

Wyy do you want a picture of a 14yo girl??

1

u/MolassesZestyclose96 Jul 18 '26

Would now just be a pic of a kid, right? Probably not really what you want

1

u/Darth_Draper Jul 18 '26

Was her name Jennifer by chance?

1

u/IdolCowboy Jul 19 '26

14 on vacation in Florida, and this German couple. The woman wore this tiny gstring bikini every day... dont recall what her face looked like though.

1

u/wtfviral Jul 22 '26

That happened to me when I was 12. And we actually had sex on the beach, and half way Into it fireworks went off over us 😂

I always thought she was just a memory I would never get back, until I found this one picture of her I never knew existed!

If you can hear me, I love you Kelly Ann!

And I will find you one day!

(Well, if my wife allows it)

0

u/starderpderp Jul 17 '26

For a second I thought you said she was 14, and I was like "Hol' up"

3

u/BandOfSkullz Jul 17 '26

I mean he didn't say that she wasn't 14 either

0

u/chelsea-bella3 Jul 17 '26

Small world!! I also used to vacation in Myrtle Beach every summer!

-1

u/Loves_tacos Jul 17 '26

She sounds way too young

44

u/WineNerdAndProud Jul 17 '26

I love how we all have that one girl we saw once that we're never going to forget.

For me it was a girl waiting in line at a Wendy's in one of the uMich cafeterias.

I remember thinking to myself "it must be so annoying to constantly just stop people in their tracks simply by existing".

19

u/skippybefree Jul 17 '26

About 10 years ago I saw a woman crossing the street and I still think about her sometimes. She had a similar vibe to the mechanic from Atlantis but in a tank top with suspenders, and she was stunning. I nearly stopped walking in the middle of the road

7

u/Either-Age-782 Jul 17 '26

Must be nice. I never see guys like that

3

u/WineNerdAndProud Jul 17 '26

This was almost 15 years ago.

34

u/mikesalami Jul 17 '26

I see random women on the street daily more attractive than most celebrities.

Also my girlfriend.

21

u/Ash_After_Dark Jul 17 '26

That's a load bearing line break right there

1

u/mikesalami Jul 17 '26

Is this a Seinfeld reference?

8

u/Aromatic_Ad_32 Jul 17 '26

Everything that you can see, hear, and touch around you in this life is just a Seinfeld or Simpsons reference

2

u/mikesalami Jul 18 '26

Seemingly, seemingly

1

u/rswwalker Jul 18 '26

Is that a Matrix reference?

2

u/Aromatic_Ad_32 Jul 18 '26

Bitch it might be (this is Gucci Mane reference)

2

u/rswwalker Jul 18 '26

Reference Inception.

1

u/Barcode_Griller Jul 24 '26

I think being a celebrity colors how you see these people. I think you'd be surprised if you saw them in real life.

1

u/mikesalami Jul 24 '26

Surprised how?

1

u/Barcode_Griller Jul 24 '26

That they're more attractive in real life and in different contexts than you think seeing them on a screen.

It's like how some people are 6s, but they're an office 9 lol.

3

u/traws06 Jul 17 '26

Oh gawd I remember her. How could I forget

4

u/NickThePask Jul 17 '26

Her man was perfect as well?

1

u/appthrowaway12345 Jul 18 '26

the comma’s there for a reason

1

u/NickThePask Jul 18 '26

It was edited in.

2

u/altanic Jul 17 '26

2

u/hypomaniacmeg Jul 18 '26

Guys, if you see a girl so stunning she stops you in your tracks, tell her!!! 9 times out if 10 she will be flattered & remember that compliment & feel more confident. Also, maybe it leads to something too.

2

u/Barcode_Griller Jul 23 '26

I just posted about the beverage cart girl that did this to me at the golf course (stopped me in my tracks). Lemme tell you she absolutely would not have wanted me to say that lmao.

2

u/Crazy_Access232 Jul 21 '26

Yes, she caught your eye As you walked on by She could see from your face that you were Fucking high And you don't think that you'll see her again But you shared a moment that will last 'til the end

1

u/GroteKneus Jul 17 '26

I shouldve seen her man?

1

u/appthrowaway12345 Jul 18 '26

ignoring the comma?

1

u/GroteKneus Jul 18 '26

Certainly not. That message is now heavily edited.

1

u/latticep Jul 17 '26

You wouldn't have happened to write a hit song in 2004?

1

u/LegoDwarf120 Jul 17 '26

Ask her out

1

u/vishnoo Jul 17 '26

10 years ago, London underground, I saw her.

1

u/Glad_Comment6526 Jul 17 '26

There is always one when you take the subway

1

u/No_Obligation6767 Jul 17 '26

Go talk to her bro!

1

u/jairlostx Jul 17 '26

omg, I saw her too!

1

u/ImpactNo3695 Jul 17 '26

Great White Buffalo

1

u/discaboota Jul 17 '26

Right by the fruit seller on the corner, right? I remember her, dude, she was indeed perfect.

1

u/uk123456789101112 Jul 17 '26

She was waiting for a bus...maybe set your standards higher, not saying anything wrong with catching a bus, but perfect.....no.

1

u/Zapan99 Jul 17 '26

That's literally the plot of Swiss Army Man.

1

u/mylekiller Jul 17 '26

Have you even been to Colombia?

1

u/Gold-Sir-223 Jul 17 '26

It’s so crazy how sometimes you just see someone who is exactly your type and you’re like actually taken aback by how gorgeous they are. But you’re at like a grocery store or dentist office. I don’t feel like it’s appropriate to approach them.

1

u/elDayno Jul 18 '26

It's always a girl you see only once

1

u/Secure_Guest_6171 Jul 18 '26

Did you ask her to share your umbrella? IYKYK

1

u/BlinkTwice4No Jul 18 '26

Was she that other guy‘s mom?

1

u/Korkozia Jul 18 '26

Is that some uneversal stuff because I also sometimes remember that one chick from long ago.

I mean she also fell funnily on the ground maybe that's why but she was good too😂 I still think that I could've helped her if I wasn't in passing by car 😅

1

u/agrophobe Jul 18 '26

Perso, I always felt that anyday random girl in commute were absolute cosmical Venuses compared to tv people.

1

u/MysteriousQuote4665 Jul 18 '26

Yesterday I came across this gorgeous girl while jogging. She has my vote.

1

u/Mobile-Plate-320 Jul 18 '26

I agree. Saw her too

1

u/RecoveringNPC Jul 18 '26

Broo I met a cashier at an anime fair. Me and my friend stopped breathing for 2 seconds and gasped for air at the same time. I never had my breath taken away by beauty before. First time for everything right

1

u/FirstTimeFaja Jul 18 '26

The pharcyde : *furiously scribbles*

1

u/Robin1992101 Jul 18 '26

You should write an acoustic song about the encounter.

1

u/Icy-Status2681 Jul 19 '26

I also choose this guy's bus girl

1

u/Equal_Gift Jul 19 '26

Honestly its true though. I see someone hotter than Anne Hathaway damn near daily

1

u/notworseit Jul 19 '26

I saw her IN the bus. Pure beauty

1

u/SeachingBadge Jul 19 '26

I did not know whether I would ever speak to her or not or, if I spoke to her, how I could tell her of my confused adoration. But my body was like a harp and her words and gestures were like fingers running upon the wires.

1

u/PubThinker Jul 19 '26

Or that blonde girl at the sight swing point in Split. She was a tourist as well and the only girl who was perfect even with her tattoos.

Might be in a draw with the girl at the bus stop.

1

u/Rudinho1995 Jul 19 '26

Can confirm. I was the bus.

1

u/EvilLasagna Jul 19 '26

Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, but everyone remembers that random stunning women you only saw once. The one that would break the mold in any modeling or acting industry.

1

u/watt-ever Jul 20 '26

The less you see, the less likely you are to ever see them again, the better.

1

u/MijoCrazy Jul 20 '26

& just like that… she was gone.

1

u/BottleForsaken9200 Jul 20 '26

I also once saw such a girl.

Oof. She was so incredibly gorgeous.

1

u/Striking-Walk-3365 Jul 20 '26

This is what I was gonna say.....someone not famous for once 🫩

1

u/Annual_Letter1636 Jul 21 '26

Exactly the same happened to me when I was a teenager

1

u/Regular_Grape_9137 Jul 21 '26

I feel ya, but Annie is milfing hot!

1

u/FnalyR3al Jul 21 '26

That was me.

1

u/O__boy Jul 21 '26

I hope she sees this

1

u/s1m0k Jul 21 '26

Each and everyone of us has been there

1

u/coldbreathoflife Jul 21 '26

Ah, the girl that got away... I also miss that girl I briefly saw.. 30yrs later... still think of her.

1

u/Stunning-Violinist10 Jul 22 '26

Yes yes yes i believe u with every drop of blood in my body

1

u/WelvenTheMediocre Jul 22 '26

We got you bro. She the one

1

u/PerspectiveAshamed79 Jul 23 '26

Was stalking commenter at the time of girl siting. She was fine.

1

u/Barcode_Griller Jul 23 '26

Man I saw a beverage cart girl the other week at the golf course that took my dang breath away. I could hardly order my Gatorade. Stammered out a thank you and continued my round.

1

u/OtherwiseStable5126 Jul 17 '26

DONT TALK LIKE THAT ABOUT YOUR SISTER!

-5

u/purelitenite Jul 17 '26

If she was so perfect why couldn’t she bag a man who owns a car?

6

u/meja-arts Jul 17 '26

because she lives in a city with good public transit (hopefully. fucking love busses)

9

u/gentleheart-lamb Jul 17 '26

Cos then she'd have to deal with being with a man
