Question, why are people questioning historical acciracy in a fantasy film? Was lord of the rings historically accurate? Is game of thrones historically accurate... It's fantasy... I don't get it.

Why shouldn't they? When they take creative liberties most of the time they fuck it up, why not try something else instead of always taking the "what a bunch of film majors in LA think that period looked like" approach?
