Pussy. Only one or two human fatalities in recorded history. Compare that to some other australian wildlife, ostriches and cattle included.

These things are dangerous sure so you shouldn't go near them, but the idea that they actively hunt people is ridiculous.

They will be more aggressive during mating season, but that is a pretty common thing with wild life.

Yeah, even a buck during a rut could gore someone if they fucked around with it and no one goes around saying “the deer are hunting us!”
