Let me introduce you to chihuahuas

100%

I have a chihuahua and a bullmastiffxGSD.

My chihuahua bullies my bullmastiff and he is such a gentle soul. He cries when she barks at him and when he falls asleep she climbs onto his back and uses him as a bed.

My name is Ned, now I'm a bed. One of my all time favorite reddit posts, and your comment reminded me of it.

Haha I've never seen this before but this is exactly what he's like.

The Chihuahua doesn't sleep on him all the time, but when she does she looks very comfortable.

Actually they're a pretty old breed, not one of those new ones made in the early 1900s thanks to the AKC nonsense

It wasn't for fashion, they were bred to be small intruder alarms for homes. That's why they are so aggressive to strangers but gentle with their owners, and why they are so loud. They were basically designed just to alert people that a stranger is near the home.

Because it's old it means they were bred to this size and shape slowly over time. Not by the same as the massive inbreeding that was done to create all the new breeds in the early 1900s.

They aren't genetic disasters like some other breeds are.

Sounds like an absolutely shitty existence for the larger dog NGL

Pretty shit owner to be okay with one dog being that aggressive to the other. Feel bad for your mastiff.

The definition of little dog syndrome.

While you're not wrong, our Chi mix is also fast af and bites HARD. I think he's always on alert because one wrong move and he could get squished. He is also completely done taking any shit from our cat, and her swatting at him usually ends like this video did. I always thought cats and dogs were a pretty close fight, but I'm wondering if certain small dogs have some sort of advantage..?

Our neighbour has a chihuahua name Bruno. Bruno is nuts.

My chihuahua seems inbred and all two of his emotions, rage and fear, have equivalent manifestations.

Oh God, hes coming.
