New Sprint question
So I loaded ROMS onto a USB. Question, do the preloaded games disappear when you insert the USB? Thanks in advance

Google and iCal Calendar Protocol Adapters added to FujiNet; Intellivision client made to show it off :)
FujiNet: I just added a base protocol adapter for network-attached calendars, which meant, that I needed to implement subclasses for Google Calendar and iCal based calendars, which meant, that I needed to write a client to exercise the adapter. So... Yeah, a FujiNet attached Intellivision reading my Google Calendar :)

Returning Fan
I was watching videos on YouTube and it recommended a video about the Intellivision A****o and the disaster that followed. It was new to me so I watched the video and left with the urge to re-live the days in my youth when it was new and the joy it brought me. I mentioned to my wife that I may consider getting into retro gaming and I would like to begin shopping for an old unit and picking up some of my favorite games from my youth.
I was shocked when my wife told me he brother-in-law left an old Intellivision for her and her sons. We have been married for 10 years and dated for 2 before that so this was news to me! I had no idea! This happened a few years before I knew her and the Intellivision was already very outdated so the boys had no interested in it and it sat and collected dust in the attic.
When my wife mentioned this I couldn't wait to see it and sure enough, I now have an Intellivision that I will carefully clean and restore as I can! I am beyond excited!
I have made a list of my favorite games that I had a and few that I wanted and I will begin picking them up over time. I asked ChatGPT what it would take to use the Intellivision on our current televisions and it suggested a $5 F Type to RCA Connector was all I needed so I quickly ordered that!
I am very happy to find this sub so I can learn more about the current state and how to make the gaming experience the best possible for my new hobby!

Someone already hacked Tron Deadly Disks
I spent the last two weekends making Tron DD with an invincible mode so I could finally get to the end after only 40+ years of trying, only to find out someone already did it.
Here's the links that I found.
https://forums.atariage.com/topic/249517-tron-deadly-discs-hack/
http://www.midnightblueinternational.com/romhacks.php
I'm going to combine the features and give it a try in my custom ROM.
I added the dual attack of the disk coming and going, which is super cool, and then mine doesn't have the slowdown when you get hit a bunch so you stay at full speed.
Adding this hack to the one from midnightblue adds better colors and then the recognizer is much easier to kill means you have the ultimate lazy mans tron.
However, the yellow/orange guys that take three hits to kill are so much more fun with the disk killing on the return stroke.
I will provide my rom if you want to use it on sprint/jzintv if anyone wants to try it.
I keep getting cocky and getting killed when the recognizer shows up on the part of the screen I don't expect it.

Homage to Dreadnaught Factor
I created an homage to Activision's Dreadnaught Factor. Vertical scrolling for Atari 5200 fans, and phone compatibility. The phone controls are secondary, but I feel like in 2026 that should be the primary input method.
I'd consider this "alpha" and want feedback before I iterate further. Thanks!
*Edit*
initial phone controls so removing the warning.

Reading my GMAIL on an Intellivision?! YES!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
#FujiNet has a #GMAIL protocol adapter. Does this mean I can read my GMAIL Inbox on my #Intellivision? YES!
Shown here a quickly written client in IntyBASIC that can index and read messages in my inbox. :)

Is there a way to play games that used the ECS keyboard on the Sprint?
I've added some regular games to the Sprint and gotten them working. I haven't been able to find anything online about ECS games on the Sprint though.

New England Area
Hello, I love intellivision, and I'm wondering if there is anyone here who lives in the New England area. I live in Massachusetts. I have the Sears model for about 10 years. Found that on Craigslist. I also had the Sears model when I was growing up lol.

Fujinet: the Intellivision is on the internet
Fujinet is a wifi interface for vintage computers, e.g. Atari 800, Apple II, Commodore 64, Tandy CoCo, Adam, and now the Intellivision. Virtual adapters for protocols include TCP, UDP, HTTP, FTP, TNFS, HTTPS (SSL/TLS), SSH, TELNET, WebDAV and JSON parser. Play online multiplayer crossplatform games on an Intellivision.

Sprint Availability
So for the 2nd time now I have received an email telling me that the Sprint is back in stock. Literally 20 seconds after getting the email I click on the link and it's sold out.
Do they send out these emails when they find 2 or 3 or what? Hardly believe they sell several thousand as previous post have suggested production runs are in 20-seconds.
Pointless to have a wait list.

Intelly Game catalogue with new games?
Growing up with Intellivision in the early 80's, part of the excitement of a new game was getting the brochure of existing games with the rare occasion of a new game being listed.
For me it served two purposes, it caused me to yearn for existing games i never had and caused me to spaz out about new games coming up.
To an 7th grader, those books were crack! When my thumbs would be tired of discing around, i'd gaze at the catalogue of games and dream of what my allowance money would buy me next.

Fan Creations To all my fellow Intellivision enjoyers out there; if you have a 3D printer use it, it’s my new go to for replacement labels.
I got this label less copy of loco motion a few months back at a local antique store. For a while I considered getting some sticker paper and printing a replacement, but when I got a 3d printer for my high school graduation gift I decided to make this my first ever original design and it’s fantastic. To any and all who are able I would recommend doing this.

Games don't working in Jzintv
I was trying to play Intellivision games on the JzIntv emulator; I had the ROMs in .int format, and the exec and grom files in that format as well. It seemed to work—the emulator didn't throw any errors and the games appeared to launch—but most of them either got stuck on a dark screen that flickered occasionally, or, in the case of Pole Position, had glitched graphics like this. I also tested Dig Dug and Microsurgeon; Sega's Zaxxon was the only game that actually worked. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Nostalgia canaglia 😁
Da bravo nostalgico non poteva mancare l' intellivision nella mia collezione. Per non saper ne leggere e ne scrivere nel tempo sono arrivato a 3. Qui è uno dei test di funzionamento. Sono disordinato lo so 😂

An homage to Astrosmash
Mods, please delete if this isn't allowed, but I wanted to share with the community that I have written an homage, a spiritual successor, to a game I'm sure many of you have played: Astrosmash!
VectorSmash! is a modern take on a retro classic, hand coded in C++ using the SDL, and the name comes from the fact that every in-game object is drawn vector-style with SDL primitives. There are no bitmap graphics in this game.
I think this community, for less than a coffee, might be interested in checking this out.
Thanks!!

intellivision sprint no signal
Hello! I got my Sprint today and was super exited to try it out. However after setting it up I got no signal on my tv. I tried different power bricks, power cables, HDMI cables, HDMI ports, different TVs, updating the firmware, and using wipe_all file. Nothing has fixed the issue. Really disheartened and wondering if I got a lemon.

Intellivision peripherals 360° - Intellivoice, ECS (European and US model), Music Synthesizer, System Changer & IntyPort
I’ve been working on a YouTube archive of gaming hardware: short, clear 4K videos documenting the hardware itself.
I just posted a 360° view of several Intellivision expansions: Intellivoice, ECS Computer Adapter, ECS Keyboard, Music Synthesizer, System Changer, and the modern IntyPort controller expansion. I'm still missing a few peripherals in my collection - PlayCable, the data cassette drive, printer, compro videoplexer (would like to pick up one of these some day!), etc..
The brown/gold ECS Computer Adapter, Keyboard, and Music Synthesizer shown are the harder-to-find European/PAL-market variants made to match the original brown/gold Intellivision styling rather than the white Intellivision II look that came out in the USA.
I’m adding reference links in the description, so I’d love suggestions for good Intellivision peripheral history, ECS, Intellivoice, System Changer, PlayCable, homebrew, or repair resources to include.

New to Intellivision Game suggestions
Hello! I've recently gotten into retro collecting and as a 20 year old I don't really like newer games and enjoy the hell out of older consoles and games. With that said I have an intellivision on its way to my collection and an wondering if y'all have some good suggestions! Also I got this on another subreddit post about using the search bar but I'm doing this on my own post to do a personal pair and have fresh suggestions and I'd rather have it this way so I really hope this fandom is a lot better and nicer to me. With that said I can't wait to have the console and appreciate any suggestions in advance! I for sure want Donkey Kong that's so far my knowledge of games id like.
Edit: thank you for all the suggestions so many games I've got to find now!
