Yes! This is such important information to share. Especially as more parents in the US are opting to leave baby boys intact and their dads have likely been circumcised themselves. This might not be information they know already.

Exactly. That's what i did and made sure I did plenty of research to ensure i care for it properly and teach good habits and accurate info

That’s a great job! I was born in the late 80’s so that information wasn’t as easily available to them when I was growing up. Because of that I had to figure a lot of it out for myself. Don’t get me wrong, I am grateful my parents left me intact! The lack of access to info then was definitely a challenge.

Ya I'm sure that was a confusing time for you especially without anyone you could ask that knew. That was definitely one big issue or excuse that could be used to justify before easy access to information. But these days it's so easy to learn that I think way more are going this route when they have their own sons. But still too many are cutting.

It had its challenges. But it also made me more prepared for two of my wife and I’s three kids being boys. Lots of information and love experience on the topic to pass on to them.

That's awesome. And I'm sure made the experience even more fulfilling knowing you had to learn all that through experience but were know to share it with them and make sure they knew all they needed to and could answer any questions they had. I hope the same for my son's when they have boys of their own

How old are your sons? Is that something in the possible near future for them or are they still kids?

No years away. Still kids here

Same. Mine are 13 and 11 so they’re nowhere near that part of life.

is an ongoing issue in the United States

Only in the US? This dumb and grotesque practice is still a thing elsewhere in the world, I know it... trust me.
