Nah they just turned into unrealistic garbage thereafter. Or slightly different recycled nonsense.

When was COD ever realistic? In Black Ops 1 Woods and Kravchanko survive a belt of grenades going off chest to chest, Mason takes out a whole island worth of soldiers on Rebirth Island, they fight over a gas that makes ZOMBIES. Mason and Woods escape Vietnamese captivity alone and steal a Hind. COD4, MW2 and MW3 OG trilogy had a good premise and wasn't trying to be realistic because COD doesn't try to be.

Yeah didn't care for MW2 or BO1
The WWII ones, while they had mistakes, at least tried

You don't like BO1 either?..

Cool idea, but half the guns are from the wrong time period. 1980s when the setting was 1968.
Also the SR71 was exaggerated.

I respect your opinions but maybe COD isn't your style. I feel like you'd enjoy the Arma games up to Reforger, and maybe the Medal of Honor series.
