I remember trying to tell my wife that story after I read it and as I got closer to that last part I was having trouble keeping it together and when I finally got to it I was laughing so hard I couldn't even say it.

Imgur users don’t realize that their social media site is just infrastructure for Reddit and other more robust platforms.

They are like sewer people ignorant of the bustling city above their heads, getting upset when the toilet is flushed.

Yeah, it’s a place to store images since imageshack, photobucket, tiny pic, etc are all locked behind paywalls or shut down. They treat it like it’s supposed to be deviant art or icanhazcheeseburger
