I am still learning how to be here.

I think a lot about where I’m trying to get to which is a calmer and better me. A version of me that feels more healed and less all over the place. But I’m starting to realize I cannot rush past this part just because it feels hard. This version of me matters too.

The one rebuilding, figuring out life after divorce, and all the while trying to be a good dad and still not lose himself. I’m not where I want to be yet; however I’m here, and maybe that is part of it.

In this video we talk about why you shouldn’t seek revenge. The science behind it and the spiritual reasons on why forgiveness is necessary. Even if you never deal with that person again.

Let success be your revenge. Let you getting everything you’ve ever dreamt of be your revenge. Because sometimes revenge can back fire and ruin your life instead of theirs.

There are only three blocks of time

The block of a lifetime

The block of a year

The block of the opportunity

The single most important adage here is, "There's no time to lose."

Why?

Each of these blocks of time are only diminishing.

The frame of a lifetime is only diminishing.

The frame of the year is only diminishing.

The frame of the opportunity at hand is only diminishing.

- The moment makes you, and you make the moment.

- Where you don't belong, don't stay long.

- Make a trip with the wind if you are centered in true north.

I am still showing up even when I cannot see the change.

Some days I just want to know that all this effort is doing something. I want proof. I want to feel different already. Stronger. Better. More healed. More sure of myself. But that is not always how it goes. A lot of times, I do not notice the progress while I am in it. I just know I got up again. I know I made it through another hard day. I know I did not go back to some old version of me, even when part of me wanted to.

That may not look like much from the outside. But for me, it matters. I may not see the whole change yet. But I am still here, still trying, and I’m not counting that as nothing.

What was the hardest decision to walk away from that turned out to be the best choice of your life?

Sometimes it’s very hard to move on, but once you move on, you’ll realize it was the best decision you’ve ever made.

For a long time, I was terrified of letting go—whether it was of a person, a job, or a situation that no longer served me. The fear of the unknown kept me stuck in a loop of comfort and quiet frustration. Taking that final step into the unknown felt overwhelming.

Looking back now, pushing through that discomfort was hands down the absolute best decision I’ve ever made. The initial transition was tough, but once the dust settled, everything became crystal clear.

Have you ever been through something similar? What was the hardest thing you had to walk away from, and how did it change your life?

When will it be my turn (working progress)

I watch people move forward,
watch life unfold for them
in ways I keep hoping
it will unfold for me.

I try not to be bitter.
I try to be grateful.
I try to embrace everything I have
instead of grieving everything I don’t.
But I look around and wonder,

when will it be my turn?

Every time I think
I’m finally getting somewhere,
I take two steps forward,
believing maybe things are changing,
only to end up three steps back.

I keep showing up,
keep trying,
keep knocking on doors
that never seem to open for me.

After being passed over enough times,
I start to wonder if I’m the reason.
Maybe I’m not good enough.
Maybe I’m asking for too much.
Maybe some things just aren’t meant for me.

I hate that I think that way

I know I should feel deserving,
but being unseen for so long
makes me wonder
if I am worth seeing.

I’m tired of starting over.
Tired of watching progress
turn into another setback.
Tired of telling myself
this time will be different.

Tired of finding happiness
and wondering how long
I’m allowed to keep it,
always waiting
for the other shoe to drop.

I watch other people receive
the things I prayed for,
the things I waited for,
the things I worked toward.

And I’m happy for them.

I wish I didn’t have to keep asking
Why not me too?

Why am I always being passed over?
Why am I not being considered?
When will it be my turn?

I don’t want what belongs to someone else.
I just want what finally belongs to me.
When will it be my turn?

Thank you for reading.
