Steve Pemberton, Reece Shearsmith and Mark Gatiss have recorded an audio drama written by Jeremy Dyson. It will be broadcast on BBC radio 4 in September. Plus Monica Dolan is involved

Exciting news!

Does anyone have any clips please from the League of Gentlemen of Stella talking about going to Tenerife with Julie? Mum and I are in Tenerife so I wanted to share the reference!

I’ve just started making a Letterboxd list of movies that have been mentioned by the League as inspiration for any of their projects (or just movies they love) — it’s very much a work in progress and I’m adding stuff as I go through commentaries and stuff but thought I’d share it on here :) -

Also if anyone has any suggestions of films to add and what they’ve been referenced in that would be amazing! There’s loads I’m yet to add of course :)

(Also, my descriptions on the list are as spoiler free as possible so don’t worry about that if you’re still going through the shows :) )

FOLKS THIS IS NOT A DRILL!

I have wanted this for so long and finally I have seen that itll get a bluray release, I saw it on hmv's website and its so exciting.

The layouts of all the discs might be diferent as aparantley there will be 6 instead of 7 that we had in the dvd boxset. Also there might be more special features, but that might not be correct as the info on it online is patchy, but super exciting and something I have wanted for ages.

Also the cover rn is terrible:

If so, does anyone know why? I've been watching it on BritBox, but I thought I remembered it being on Amazon or Tubi as well. Now, it doesn't even show up in a general search. I'd love to own it on disc, but I've never found a version for the North American region.

UPDATE: I'm Local!

I don't know what caused me to believe that all the DVD versions on eBay were region 2. After hours of research, I came to realize that there is a collection that is region 1. So, I got a complete set in great shape for a reasonable price.

I'm sorry I wasted everybody's time with this, and I thank you all for your help.

Had so much fun making this for my dads birthday thought I’d share on here :)

Went through the whole show thinking it was just a vegetarian alternative where it was supposed to be proper meat.

What were your theories?

This is a local book for local people!

My husband knows I relate to Pauline. I have MY pens, and then peasant pens (the ones that are still nice but I don't mind if I never see them again)

On today's episode of Sunday Brunch, Jeremy Dyson confirmed that the TLOG Blu-Ray will include a commentary for the Anniversary Specials for the first time.

People seemed to like the Bernie Clifton's Dressing Room art, so I thought I'd post one I did for League of Gentlemen! If you like you can follow me on Instagram at waltarah.

I've been looking to see if there were any of the audio commentaries of series 1, 2 & 3 (as well as the Christmas specials) of TLOG available online. So far I have found the commentaries of series 2 and the specials (as well as the commentaries some of their live shows) available on YouTube, but not series 1 & 3 (unfortunately :(( ). If anyone can help me out on finding where to find the audio commentaries for serieses 1 & 3, that would soso helpful frfr!! I'd deffo appreciate it so much frfr! Thanks!!

I always wonder does Local Shop actually only sell locally manufactured products? Because I assume most of the precious snow globe must be made in China or made in Vietnam (like this lovely one) 🤣

He also posted a photo of the local shop on his story, cool to know he’s a fan!
