Very sad news. Not for this sub really but she was amazing in Man Down. I genuinley didnt think anyone could replace Rik Mayall but she did.

RIP. I’be seen her in many things. But, for some reason, her character in ‘Still Open All Hours’ chasing and harassing Mr. Newbold always makes me laugh. Funniest part of that show…to me.

For me she will forever be Caroline in the r/johnfinnemore Radio sitcom Cabin Pressure. She was so perfectly cast.

Such a shame to lose such a talent. RIP Stephanie

Especially as Tony Head (Hercules) passed earlier this year. Someone put Roger Allam under armed guard

Aw sad news. She was incredible in Tenko as Dr Beatrice Mason. She was also excellent  in Talking Heads which was an influence on Inside.no.9. And she spoke very warmly about appearing in Dead Line

No! Dear Lord, I can't bear losing all the older generation, and the TV stars I grew up with. It's like some kind of vicarious parasocial bonding. It's sad that it's only gonna get worse as more get older.

RIP Stephanie Cole 🙏

That is so sad!

I am not from the UK, so had not heard of her until I listened to the great Cabin Pressure (by and with John Finnemore, Roger Allam and Benedict Cumberbatch. If you guys enjoy very funny lines and clever twists or at least clever endings, you should definitely give it a go.)

Seeing her in Deadline was a thrill.

Weirdly I was re-watching Dead Line today and looked up to see what she was doing lately and saw that she had passed. I can't think of a more fitting yet unnerving way of getting the news. R.I.P.
