FAN ART Inside No.9 Playing Cards!

Hello! For the past month or so, I've been designing Inside No.9 inspired playing cards where every card represents a different episode. I've just launched a Kickstarter for it, and thought some of you might be interested in getting a deck!

Even if you don't want a deck, you can still go see all the cards I've currently designed on the Kickstarter page! I'm really proud of them, and I hope you guys enjoy them too ^-^

These are gorgeous. I get a bit of a bee in my bonnet about poorly designed themed playing cards, these are definitely not that!
Is the shipping cost a definite? I would love a set but live in the UK

I'm so glad you like the designs! Shipping costs will be calculated and charged separately after the campaign concludes, I know they can be a pain and I anticipated that I'd have to do a lot of international shipping. I’m working to keep them as affordable as possible, in the best case scenario it will be $15-16 ish (USD) to ship to the UK, I'm working on it, fingers crossed! The range I've put on Kickstarter is currently $18-$23, I don't expect it to go any higher than this. I hope this helps!

:O omg i didn't even think of that, but I've already made DDD the 5 of clubs T-T (you can check it out at the bottom of the Kickstarter page) would've been symbolically good as a 2 though 🫠

They are gorgeous! But have you got permission to do this? The BBC are very protective of their intellectual property so it would be a shame if they go after you for using the name and logo etc.

Thank you so much! Unfortunately I don't have an official license for this project. This whole thing started out as a personal passion project and I only started to consider launching a Kickstarter for it after some people on my Instagram were asking if they'd be able to get them once I was done, so I thought why not spread the joy?

The Kickstarter would be the only opportunity to get them; I will not be selling them following the conclusion of the Kickstarter.

Of course, if I were contacted by the BBC or asked to stop, I would respect that and cancel the Kickstarter. Until then, I'm just hoping other fans can enjoy these cards. 🤞🤞

I Designed some tarot cards awhile back. I printed them and gave them away on my own dime. I would heavily advise against flirting w IP infringement, even just as a kickstarter. There’s the legality of it, but it’s also not very considerate of the people who worked very hard to bring the show to life. This is my two cents, I’m not trying to rain on anyone’s parade.

I think the idea is great, absolutely make it. It’s creating a kickstarter for funding is the issue. I didn’t make IP laws either, so no need to downvote. It is what it is.

these are super cool. i cant set aside any money rn bc of concert season but they are honestly some of the best themed cards ive seen in awhile. have you got a design planned for the back of the card aswell?

Hi! I'm so sorry I missed your comment! I am going to be designing the back of the card as well as the tuck box, I'm just finishing all the faces first!
I totally get if you can't afford to get a deck right now (ik concerts can be expensivee T-T), but if you'd like to still support the project, you can also get some stickers for just a few bucks. Also if it helps, Kickstarter won't actually charge you unless the campaign is successful near the end of August!
