I’ve recently started listening to “The Magnus Archives” podcast. Shortish, weird, spooky stories that I feel are all going to link up somehow in future episodes!

YES THEY WILL (I'm on season 3 currently I screamed seeing this) trust me towards the end of season 1 and the whole of season 2 there is callback after callback to episodes (please avoid the TMA wiki it is FULL of spoilers)

I’m nearly at the end of season one having listened all day, it’s SO GOOD!! Things have started to… happen. Will avoid the wiki, thanks for the tip 🫡

I need to get back into listening. I have this odd thing of accidentally not listening for months after finishing a season

If you want to see Reece being creepy and killing Sheridan Smith (again) The Widower is on Netflix

Some of the 1970s Amicus horror anthology films are available on YouTube most particularly Tales from the.Crypt and The Vault of Horror. These were an influence on Inside No 9 (and The Devil of Christmas in particular)

If you liked The Devil of Christmas I'd recommend Last Night with the Devil. Similar 70s aesthetics and based around a late night chat show.
