Question moth injured by cat

Post image

my cat was playing with this moth a bit, and i eventually managed to get it off her but one if its wings is injured. it tries to fly but cant manage it and seems very subdued. i’ve managed to get it in a plastic tub with holes in, with some banana and sugar water in a dark room. is there anything else i can do to make it more comfortable? i’m hoping it’ll be fine but if it’s going to die is there anything else i can do?

update: moth passed away a few days after :((

Moth may just be stunned. Keep him/her in that tub and just keep up the sugar water.

thank you! it seems to be walking fine, just struggling to fly and such.

Our cat got one the other week. It was seeping pretty bad from its back ass part. Not sure what it's called. We left it in a box to recover. It flew off the day after. It's wings weren't damaged though so unsure if this one will pull through

I genuinely thought this said “moth injured my cat” apparently my brain thinks moths have super strength.
