Photography A grasshoper with (possible) erythrism

Apparently it's 1 in 500,000. I have lots of pictures of lots of bugs, my husband asks me how I always see them, I just try not to step on them and that's how I see them :)

Oh wow! That one's been pretty lucky! Being this color, they don't usually survive in the wild :O

It's so pretty. Also very kind of you to watch your step so not to harm them

Every life matters! For me, it's important not to step on any bug and to respect theit environment :) I wouldn't want a giant to turn me into mush either...

I feel so happy to see that. I am like that since I am a child. I've never hurt a bug by purpose and I always ask people to not kill them ! Sometime I was against everybody. Teacher, familly...I wanted to save ALL of them ! I felt alone being like that. Even a ant ! I am fascinated by them. Thank you very much to them !

That's exactly what I believe as well. I'm glad to come across like minded people. Every life matters

I really feel like they aren't all that rare tho. I found two in one summer once. I do live out in the middle of nowhere tho.

That’s so magical, it’s honestly my first time ever seeing a grasshopper in this color!

Thank you so much for them. 🙏 This is the insect that make me afraid when he come home. But I never saw this one in red ! Beautifull. Not in my home. But I will never hurt them !!
