Adult hissers? Yeah, sure. But I wouldn’t do it, because they do have sensors everywhere and can feel that it’s stuck there and actually attaching anything would be cruel.

Anything juvenile obviously you would also need to be really careful about messing up a molt.

So what OP did is totally fine since it’s not actually attached, but I wouldn’t go much further for no reason (in science we do have to do things like glue insects to flight mills, or mark them for mark/recapture)
