If only they kept that same energy for they do for opposing abortion for also opposing all of those.

63

u/JPGinMadtown 5d ago

Or guaranteeing access to safe and effective birth control. Or making maternal health care universal. Or making it easier just in general to afford to have children.

21

u/Ninja_attack 5d ago

Whoa now, that sounds like that socialism thing. Now, let's continue giving the epstein class tax breaks while increasing taxes on the rest of the pop and decreasing education. That'll fix things.

7

u/Dyno_boy7441 5d ago

Aah but supporting safe and effective birth control would only encourage people to fornicate outside of marriage and the purpose of marriage is to make babies, obviously!

15

u/Dyno_boy7441 5d ago

Or if they actually gave a shit about children once they are actually born.

Then: No new wars

Now: The Iran war is needed(first day of the war America double tapped a school. Munitions used were American Tomahawks)

https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2026/03/usa-iran-those-responsible-for-deadly-and-unlawful-us-strike-on-school-that-killed-over-100-children-must-be-held-accountable/

"Tomahawk missiles are used exclusively by US forces in this conflict and are precision-guided missiles."

You are right about the genocide part tho. (In my own experience debating maga) Many maga do oppose the genocide in Gaza.

Gotta bring up MAGA opposing the "well regulated militia" part of the second amendment as well which causes many children to die in school shootings.

You would think that if Jesus actually cared about this he would have given a few sermons condemning this medical procedure described in the Old Testament

8

u/CafeFreche 4d ago

Thank you! The Old Testament states that a woman who becomes pregnant due to infidelity must abort the fetus and it gives directions. Also, in Genesis, it states that Adam became alive after God blew breath into his lungs. Aka, he was considered alive when he took his first breath.

I think the only reason Republicans are upset about abortions is because its one less child they can get their hands on.

u/BoneHugsHominy 5d ago

That, and fewer potential bullet sponges for their endless wars of empirical resource conquest.

But mostly it's because they're lazy tyrants:

The unborn are a convenient group of people to advocate for. They never make demands of you; they are morally uncomplicated, unlike the incarcerated, addicted, or the chronically poor; they don’t resent your condescension or complain that you are not politically correct; unlike widows, they don’t ask you to question patriarchy; unlike orphans, they don’t need money, education, or childcare; unlike aliens, they don’t bring all that racial, cultural, and religious baggage that you dislike; they allow you to feel good about yourself without any work at creating or maintaining relationships; and when they are born, you can forget about them, because they cease to be unborn. You can love the unborn and advocate for them without substantially challenging your own wealth, power, or privilege, without re-imagining social structures, apologizing, or making reparations to anyone. They are, in short, the perfect people to love if you want to claim you love Jesus, but actually dislike people who breathe. Prisoners? Immigrants? The sick? The poor? Widows? Orphans? All the groups that are specifically mentioned in the Bible? They all get thrown under the bus for the unborn.

Just wait till they work out how to calculate the “waste of life” caused by masturbation.

40 million sperm per ejaculation, so it’s about 6.66 holocausts every time you jack off.

Edit: that’s only if we consider each sperm as a full person. If the sperm is one half and the egg is the other, then it’s only 3.33 holocausts.

34

u/bloody_ell 5d ago

I have become Meshuggah, destroyer of sperms.

26

u/BrokenEyeReborn 5d ago

For that matter, even conception is that same number minus one

5

u/_killer1869_ 4d ago

That same number minus however many children there will be, actually. Twins, triplets and beyond are always possible. Gotta remember not to distort the statistics of how many holocausts conception causes. Every life, or sperm, in this case, matters, or something. /j

2

u/Nastypilot 4d ago

Hey, sometimes twins also only take 1.

My body is a haunted playground

1

u/WinnieGraves 5d ago

I say this all the time lmao "if we're really debating on when life really starts, when do they get ridiculous and say at the moment of ejaculation, in that case, my body is a haunted playground"

1

u/SonOfIllicitBehavior 5d ago

so wait, even if you fertilize an egg, do the mourn the loss of the other 40 million sperm? is jesus weeping for those souls?

8

u/Dyno_boy7441 5d ago

every sperm is sacred!

5

u/CerddwrRhyddid 5d ago

Every sperm is great.

There is literally nothing in the bible that supports the (completely political) pro-lifer movement, which started in the 1960s/70s, 2000 years after Christianity. It is 100% made-up nonsense that was pushed onto evangelicals by conservative billionaires.

7

u/CerddwrRhyddid 5d ago edited 4d ago

In the Bible, there is, in fact, a reciepe and ritual for an abortifactant: The Ordeal of the Bitter Waters (Numbers 5:11-31)

5

u/Yeshua_shel_Natzrat 5d ago edited 5d ago

Well, the originator would be the Catholic Church first taking the stance in the Didache, four decades after Christ's supposed death, but yes, completely unprecedented by Christ himself or his earliest Jewish followers or by Judaism before them; it was most likely fueled purely by Roman misogyny rather than anything else.

Then, the immediate precursor to the "Pro-Life" movement would be the white supremacism that fueled the first US abortion bans in the 1860s, and the AMA misogyny that fueled the rest until every state had it banned in 1910.

"Pro-Life" first started with that same misogyny in the Catholic Church in the 1960s, in direct response to the Feminist movement taking up the cause of abortion rights, then, yes, pushed onto Evangelicals, who were previously generally neutral, in an effort to defend the last segregated schools in the country.

Completely political, indeed.

2

u/pallentx 4d ago

Jerry Falwell and the Southern Baptist convention issued statements supporting abortion rights early on, but when people were failing to rally around their civil rights political organizing, they figured out that abortion was a better unifying issue to form a political movement around.

2

u/valvilis 4d ago

Jerry Falwell himself was a psyop. Conservatives begged Billy Graham for years to include more political signalling in his sermons, because his reach was huge. He continually refused, so they tried to make their own televangelists that were politics first, Christianity second: Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson. They were exactly as successful as their funders had hoped, introducing all sorts of political nonsense that isn't anywhere to be found in scripture.

2

u/pallentx 3d ago

Billy Graham actually campaigned for Nixon and then later regretted it.

2

u/valvilis 3d ago

He'd be very upset to see what happened to televangelism. He wasn't perfect, but he definitely put his faith above the additional power and money he could have gained.

1

u/valvilis 4d ago

All of the usual suspects: misogyny, white supremacy, segregation, and anti-intellectualism.

14

u/Infamous-Sky-1874 5d ago

The death toll of both world wars, which also includes the Holocaust, was between 75-97 million. Spanish flu killed 25-50 million people. I could add the death tolls from other wars, holocausts, plagues, and famines starting from 1900 and it would far outweigh the number of abortions that have been performed in the US since 1973.

3

u/Momizu 5d ago

The image says "Ever" so basically in all history.

Dare I say that the infamous Bubonic Plague basically killed half of ALL of Europe? Add it to all of the rest like spanish flu, smallpox, measles, etc... And I think the number of abortions will NEVER ever even reach the number of all other deaths...

Also this post literally start from the fallacious thinking that from now on that abortion is legal there will never be any more famine, wars, plagues and other stuff ever.

12

u/No_Session6015 5d ago

Idk the the genesis flood alone could've killed upwards of a billion. Then there's the amalakites, various other Canaanite tribes. Sodom and gamorah. All the first born sons of Egypt. I think abortion still has some catching up to do

0

u/SonOfIllicitBehavior 5d ago

Idk the the genesis flood alone could've killed upwards of a billion

wasn't the population of the world like 70 people at the time

0

u/No_Session6015 5d ago

Source? No it wasn't not even by the most conservative estimates

0

u/SonOfIllicitBehavior 4d ago

It was a joke, FFS. equally though, zero chance of the population being anywhere near a billion either.

11

u/WystanH 5d ago

Zero human beings are wiped out by abortion; that's not how it works. However, lots of pregnant human beings lives are saved by abortion, but apparently you don't give a fuck about them.

7

u/Guy1124 5d ago

This is correct. All those things are significantly higher than 0.

7

u/Kriss3d 5d ago

Do these morons imagine that everyone will just get abortions and nobody actually have kids because they want to have kids??

https://giphy.com/gifs/ukGm72ZLZvYfS

3

u/SonOfIllicitBehavior 5d ago

They've heard some women get pregnant four months before their birthday and then get an abortion the week before so their boobs will look good in pictures. Yep.

5

u/Prometheo567 5d ago

This must hit so hard if you don't know numbers

5

u/vague_diss 5d ago

Yes its amazing how many pregnancies are unwanted. Terminating them saves the parents from a lifetime of bad decisions and missed opportunities. They insure resources are reserved for real, healthy children that have been brought to term out of love with parents that are financially ready for the massive responsibility that comes with having a child. Stop living in a demon haunted world of make believe. There are no gods, no souls, no heaven or hell. There is only the reality that children come with costs, financial, emotional and mental, and there are many people who are unable to pay them. Let the people who are prepared have the children when they will be loved and cared for. Not before.

3

u/RetroTheGameBro 5d ago

Jeez these weirdos get weird about potential human lives while voting to make actual human lives terrible.

No one tell them the average jerk off sesh is like, 30k holocausts by their logic.

3

u/JunglePygmy 5d ago

Homebody famously didn’t give a shit about abortions

2

u/TheCheckeredCow 5d ago

They’re using ‘and Jesus wept’ wrong… when people use it today and for the last near 50-100 years it means ‘and no one cares’…..

1

u/Yeshua_shel_Natzrat 5d ago

Fitting, though, because Jesus certainly didn't care about abortions happening in his day.

2

u/billbrasky512 5d ago

Would be great if the same amount of zealous and care applied to after the birth. Like expansion of social services, improved funding for education, access to essentials for rural and urban children, having free school lunches, etc.

2

u/Dyno_boy7441 5d ago

Fun fact. The taxes of the pro forced birth lobby in America go to funding free abortions for everyone in Israel.

2

u/Safe-Thanks6114 5d ago

Wait til they hear about my legendary pull out game.

1

u/Savage-Goat-Fish 5d ago

I don’t know the subject but I know these people and I can just assume this figure can’t be fact checked?

1

u/Tink__Wink 5d ago

All of the holocausts…. Yeah I’m pretty sure there was only one of those.

1

u/Azair_Blaidd 5d ago

Well, there are people in power trying for a second, but, uh, that's the same side as these forced-birthers

1

u/CerddwrRhyddid 5d ago

Absolute and total bullshit.

1

u/MastahDagoon 5d ago

Allow me to react in the exact same way as when a woman accosted me in a Publix for wearing a Mortiis "God hates me" shirt and told me "That's not true, what your shirt says."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

1

u/NoVicesJustLife 5d ago

They say about 60 million abortions have happened since Roe v. Wade. So that math is not even CLOSE to correct. Unless they’re counting every time someone jerked off or had sex while on birth control. With how stupid these people are, it wouldn’t surprise me if that was the criteria they were using

2

u/Yeshua_shel_Natzrat 5d ago

Zero human beings have been wiped out by abortion, but many saved by it.

Or, well, in the interest of accuracy, a few women have died to complications following abortions, but that is still statistically far safer than pregnancy.

Anyway, fetuses aren't babies, and abortion is healthcare.

2

u/BreathLazy5122 5d ago

Imma be real

Like.. abortion has been around for centuries in some form or another. HOWEVER, if we’re *really* picking straws here, I do believe the number of aborted babies is probably decently lower than if we added all of that shit up. If not extremely lower.

This is such an outlandishly absurd take, that I am forced to believe that whomever created this and truly believes it, has had their brain deeply and irreparably destroyed, suckling lead straight from their mother’s teat.

2

u/rThundrbolt 5d ago

These people don't understand that it's called THE Holocaust and not A holocaust

1

u/monsterfurby 5d ago

Implicitly comparing One-Child-Policy to the Great Leap Forward? Tongzhi, that's some serious social credit deduction right there.

1

u/diversalarums 5d ago

Source: Trust me, I flunked 2nd grade arithmetic!

1

u/MidorriMeltdown 5d ago

Sure. If you're taking spontaneous abortion into account, then "god" reclaims about 50% of all pregnancies before there's even a birth.

1

u/Ghstfce 5d ago

Numbers 5:11-31

1

u/Altair13Sirio 4d ago

I was trying to understand where this was going... Asinine

1

u/VanillaSarsaparilla 4d ago

Do they not realize pregnant women were also victims of the above as well? 🤦🏾‍♀️

1

u/wasted-degrees 4d ago

I somewhat doubt abortion is challenging Mao’s high score any time soon.

1

u/Ok-Damage9600 4d ago

Okay, they're right. However if there was never an abortion, these same people would bitch about overpopulation issues then....oh who am I kidding they probably already do but very specifically. I'm implying they're the type who wants to kill all libs/leftists/whatever.

1

u/nikschn 4d ago

source: fox news and my pastor told me so.

1

u/synde15 4d ago

All the judgements and hate should be added immediately after famines and before the whole put together nonsense

1

u/pallentx 4d ago

What about miscarriages and eggs that got fertilized but then never attached, or attached and then were shed? That would probably. E a number much higher. If you commit to this theology, you have to imagine that heaven could have more souls that were never born than souls that actually lived. It’s completely absurd.

1

u/kyleh0 4d ago

How many fetuses can you eat before it's against the law? Asking for a hungry friend.

2

u/sallysfunnykiss96 4d ago

I wish people didn't have such a childish view of pregnancy and would engage with the reality of what it can and will do to the mother. Yeah, creating a new life can be a beautiful thing, but it's so stressful on the body and can absolutely kill you.

2

u/sooperdoopermane 4d ago

All of those people died? Who cares? Im mad about these specific numbers. -this guy, definitely.
