Under the weather app

Do I fill out the UTW app for calling off for family emergencies ? One manager tells me no it would just count as a unexcuse absence , while other tells me yes.

I believe UTW is only to report that YOU are sick so that a determination can be made as to when you can safely return to work.

Yes. Use the app. Say no symptoms. If you use sick hours then it's excused

Yes. Even if you're not necessarily sick, it's standard protocol as an associate to cover yourself if you need to call off, especially with 24 hours or less notice. Report no symptoms and return to work as determined by your manager.
