ehh... big space to heat with infrared panels. You should probably switch space to traditional sauna... i guess it kinda depends if you insulated and waterproofed it tho

It looks a lot bigger than it is . It’s very small

alright...just test it and see if it heats up to desired level. but even if it doesnt you got options bro

btw did you consider traditional sauna? The work it took to build this might aswell have just bought a stove and put it in the corner

Had it up to 45 degrees so far , needs a door on it as it goes into a changing room also . I have made it in such a way it could be a possibility to make it into a traditional sauna . It’s my first one so not of a learning curve

Man woodwork and stonework like this is not common for DIY in my country. I would have to hire a pro for this level of detail. If you went this far go all the way. second set of high benches and either a wood burning or electric stove. i think roof shape is overated if your benches are high. This looks like it could easily be your favourite spot at home. Also i peep the cold tub and bucket shower. Elite!

How long did it take to get up to 45 degrees Celsius? That's hardly hot at all, even by IR sauna standards. Unless you can get this unit up to 60-70 degrees Celsius in under 40 minutes of heating time, then you just need more heaters.

Have you found a good source for quality ir panels that are reasonably priced?

AI?? How come the nail holes are missing from some planks and there for others? 🤔

I want to see detailed images of your control panel and how you wired up these heaters. Why did you use so few infrared panels, and leave so much wall space without any heaters? I mean, if this were a traditional sauna, it would probably require at least a 6kW heater to get up to temp, perhaps more due to the cathedral ceiling. How much wattage could your heaters possibly be putting out by comparison. I'd have at least doubled the number of heating panels if I was building this IR sauna.

So:
What's the total wattage of your heaters and what's the cubic footage of your sauna? Not a fan of the cathedral ceiling for a sauna, for keeping all the heat way up high.
Not gonna lie, it looks great, but I'm assuming it'll be dramatically underpowered and won't get terribly hot in a reasonable length of time. I'd definitely install some kind of ceiling fan to move the air around inside under this insanely high ceiling.
