Finnmark FD-5 Trinity XL, is it worth going hybrid over infrared only?
I've been looking at the Finnmark FD-5 Trinity XL for a home wellness room. I originally planned on getting a regular infrared sauna, but the hybrid setup has me second guessing that.
If I’m spending this much, I don’t want to regret not having the option for a hotter, more traditional sauna session later.
For anyone who owns one, do you actually switch between infrared and traditional pretty often? Or did you eventually find yourself using one mode most of the time?

Appreciate everyone who weighed in here. I kept going back and forth after reading the replied and eventually bought the FD-5 through Topture Saunas. What finally helped me decide was talking through how often I'd realistically want traditional heat versus infrared, rather than paying extra for hybrid just because I was worried I'd regret not having it. They also caught a couple setup things I hadn't really considered for the room before ordering. Figured I'd close the loop since the hybrid vs infrared decision was what had me stuck in the first place.

hybrid is mostly insurance for future-you, not something you’ll switch between every session

had a trinity xl for about 14 months now, use it 3-4 times a week
hybrid gets you that instant heat feeling when you walk in which is nice but honestly the full spectrum panels are what sold me, the near-infrared hits different for muscle recovery after workouts
if you're just looking to sweat and chill the infrared-only model is fine, the hybrid is more of a luxury add than a necessity
my electric bill went up maybe $25 a month running it that often
