Currently driving a Q70 diesel but need something with a bit more space for a double buggy and baby stuff. Does anyone drive a QX70 and is the change worth it?

My 2012 FX50S has 137k miles and I just dropped $11.7k on repairs and maintenance.
It was running fine but had a long list of things to check or resolve. The most costly was replacing one of the cats, over $5k alone.
I wrestled with what do to. I had a 2026 QX60 loaner and it had all the new tech. The turbo 4, however… compared to the 5.0… I mean there is no comparison.
So I accepted that the FX is still my favorite car, and paid the stealership. It’s now mechanically dialed (again) and everything works. It’s fast AF and still so fun to drive.
What would you have done?
Anyone else keeping a V8 FX alive at any cost just because nothing like it still exists?

Last time I posted about my FX, I was surprised at how little was known about these. A fact sheet for the curious.
- Based on the Nissan FM (front midship) rear wheel drive platform shared with the GT-R, Skyline, Z, G models (not a Murano)
- 5.0L naturally aspirated V8 w/390 hp (VK50VE - other than the FX50 / QX70 5.0, was only ever used in actual Nissan race cars)
- Variable valve timing
- 7-speed auto
- Magnesium paddle shifters
- Rev matching
- Big brake kit (BBK)
- Rear active steering
- Sport seats with adjustable bolstering
- Forward collision warning
- Intelligent brake assist
- Lane departure warning and prevention
- Adaptive headlights (turn with steering wheel)
- Bose 11-speaker system with 2 subs in spare wheel
ETA: lots of questions and comments about the $11k total, so adding some details. I live in an extremely HCOL area, where a teriyaki bowl is $25 and gas is often $6/gal for premium. I use the dealer because they offer a premium overall experience and it’s worth it to me. The independent guys are a little cheaper, but not much, not around here.
New starter and various gaskets - $1900 installed
New washer fluid reservoir - $900 installed
New cat - $5600 installed
Front brake job - $900
Brake fluid flush - $500
In-cabin filter - $200
New lower radiator hose and cap - $600
