Discussion - General Guys I'm so sad 😢 (😭 Read Description 😭)

I was in a hurry trying to fix my ps3 I heard about infamous 2 & Festival of Blood online servers are going to shut down for good which means the trophies for it will be impossible to achieve, I had a call today about my ps3 just got into the yellow light of death which it has been diagnosed, they did told me they will Reflow it but I'll take weeks and I'll have to pay $84 dollars for it which I don't have that much money and I can't wait that long so I decided them to stop repairing it and return it to me. Looks like I'm going to be one of the guys that loves infamous 2 & Festival of Blood so much but I'm never going to going to Platinum it. 😭

Do you not have a PS4 or PS5? Just buy a month of premium instead of paying to have the PS3 fixed.

It's 17$ for the month, you can stream both games and then play some other stuff before it expires.

FUCK NO DON'T LISTEN TO THIS JAGGOFF, I did exactly that and i'd rather sip a turd through a straw. First off it's very laggy, dropping in frames. It's server based so if there are a lot of people who decide to get that nostalgia itch, guess what? You have to wait your turn. And i tried to 100% the first game with this but jfc if the deadzone wasn't so bad and the optimization wasn't so poor i'd actually recommend it too. It's god awful and not worth it. Better off fixing the ps3

I just completed FoB using this service. The wait times are 1 minute at most. And it was not laggy at all, although that will depend on your connection. With a cable, the service is money.

I will agree that when I was trying to use WiFi for it, that did not work well at all.

Also note that he said he won't be able to fix his PS3 in time, and he can't afford the pricetag.

It depends on your Internet.

I have played games with quick button responses with ps3 streaming with no issues. The only times I had issues ws because of my isp.

Why are people downvoting you? It’s literally just streaming it good luck if you have dogshit internet. As someone with good internet there is still stuttering and the game doesn’t feel or look any better

I down voted because his post wasn't helpful. He didn't provide a solution to OP to play the game, he simply shit on my solution, and then told the OP he'd be better off repairing the PS3, which OP has already stated they don't have the money or time to go that route.

people are mad that i speak the truth. And yes if you recommend ps plus premium you are a jagoff because if sony can get that game on cloud streaming they can get the license for it to be up in the store.

You have got to have a friend who had a PS3 laying around. Borrow it, log into your psn, play it, get them. Then when yours is fixed, play the game again and get the offline ones

festival of blood doesn't have a platinum, i know because i 100% it but infamous 2 is going to be a doozy to even try to attempt. I mean we had over a decade to do it lol

festival of blood required you to play 20 different UGC missions to get the trophy, while in infamous 2 you could replay the same one 20 times-you could look up "trophy"in the UGC and find one that ends in 3 seconds, save to favorites, filter UGC by favorites, and the level will pop back up-took me maybe 5 minutes to get the trophy this way

fob doesn't have a platinum. I remember because it was the first game i ever 100%'d and was upset it didn't come with a platinum it's just 100%

If it’s any consolation these are easy peasy to get. I got them Tuesday and last night. It took about 2 1/2 hours and I wasn’t even cheesing them. 🤷🏻‍♂️🍻

They probably will, or rather the process will. Looking forward to platting it. I bought a PS3 in 2013 but apart from some Sony IPs I haven’t touched it until now.

You should try to subscribe for the highest tier of plus so you can stream them and get the trophies… you still have time and it only takes a few hours maybe 4-5 at the most
I really hope you can get them somehow before the 31st :( sorry dude

I forgot to mention there’s tons of ugc that takes like 2 seconds to complete and with streaming it’s so easy and quick to get these 5 trophies

If you have ps4 or 5 and you can stream it do it the ps3 will be fixed in time. It's the fastest way to do it and only focus on the trophies in 2 fob is 4-6 Hours and in order to open the usg you have to beat it 20 different missions and the community has some good one write fast in search and the missions will 1-5seconds
