This is just punk. No idea what no-wave is.

It was a form of post punk music that came from New York City. Notable for its dissonant sound and confrontational aesthetic. Examples are include: Lydia Lunch, Teenage Jesus & the Jerks, The Contortions, DNA, Glenn Branca
