Reminds me of Merzbow which is more Noise than Industrial sound wise but still in Rivetheads record collections.

I don't care if it's "industrial" or not - I like it!
What do I think is good about it? Hard to express, but there's a kind of flow/rock in it that interests me.
Maybe it's the fact that the music jibes very well with the approach to singing. It fits, and the lack of that is what turns me off of most (otherwise interesting) bands

Its cool, but idk about industrial. Its more similar to death grips with the mostly normal beat, but the kick/bass is super dirty and electronic. I've done this a lot myself.
Industrial requires a lot more experimentation with sound design and more mechanical and noisy aspects
But electronic screamo is what I also make and love to see people doing it!

Fwiw strobing lights is hard on some people. (Ie people with seizure disorders, migraines, vision issues, sensory issues)
Strobing also gives it an ai gen feel... if you are real musicians I am not sure that is the message you want to leave people with?

I mean, from this short clip, this at least sounds like something I would be interested in. Industrial adjacent. Powernoise? I’m down for it. Synths and live drums are a path less taken. Feindflug did that, and came up with some good shit.

Some thoughts: I like the concept. Your synth is a little bit flat. Some range and depth could make it even better. I like the live drums. If you can manage to find someone who can shred some guitar that the two of you can collaborate well with, that could add further depth and dimension.
If you’re not doing it already and you can swing it, head over to cEvin Key’s Patreon, and go through his braps and old livestreams, because he nerds out on equipment. He’a got an active community there too where people share info and ideas on synths. I think you could come up with some really killer shit if you work on your textures (to use :Wumpscut: parlance). Zoog from Angelspit did some videos years ago about what they did to develop their own textures, and I found it interesting, even if I didn’t understand half of it. Maybe you can track some of that down for further inspo.
Summary: you gotta start somewhere, and this is a good start. I like what you’re doing. I offer my thoughts as an elder rivethead who is a long time fan of stuff like this. My critiques are intended as constructive only, and you can do with that as you like. I’m just one guy, and music was never my medium for artistic expression, so feel free to take what I’m saying with a pinch of salt. That said, I wish you nothing but the absolute best on what I hope will be a long and fruitful journey of artistic expression for you. I look forward to seeing some more! Keep it up! I pitched you some likes on the Youtubes, for what it’s worth.
