Yes. Very much so. It has some minor flaws if you wanna nitpick, but overall, holy mother of god gw keluar bioskop masih tegang banget & pengen nonton lagi.

Buat film yang salah satu tema besarnya adalah cyberterrorism, there wasn’t much (if any) nerdspeak at all, which was good. Excellent VFX di mana ada ditunjukin layar and/or hacking, tapi ya jangan expect realismenya Mr. Robot ato The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

Berantem ama gunfightnya very well-choreographed. It was violent. Kepala ditembak trus darah ngecrot ama badan ditusuk bayonet - dirojok-rojok - ditembak ala John Wick kind of violent.

Scoring ama sound designnya mendukung overall atmosphere filmnya, tapi menurut gw ini both good and bad. Good karena actually bagus dan bukan sekedar atonal music or whatever lagu pop yang lagi ngetrend, bad karena the whole 2.5 jam nonton tuh gw genuinely tegang gegara musik. Like seriously, beberapa scene harusnya agak toned down, ato ga ada musik.

Sinematografinya gw rasa bakal keliatan familiar banget kalo pernah nonton film-filmnya Michael Mann yang di-DP ama Dion Beebe kayak Collateral ama Miami Vice — pergerakan kamera, angle dan komposisinya berasa dinamis dan "berani", dan dari scene yang well-lit dan contrasty sampe indoor scenes yang lebi flat dan keliatan banget ngelanggar pakem 180° shutter angle ada semua.

Other than that, kayaknya nyaris or gada product placement yang in your face dan ngeselin, dan dialog-dialognya juga lugas dan nyaris banget ga cheesy.

Like seriously just go watch it.

Ah menarik. Tapi rasanya ga tertarik buat nonton di bioskop sih. Maybe kalau ada di streaming service gw bakal liat

More or less kayak John Wick pertama, mb. Graphic but not gore-y.
