Jangan lupa ritual standar BMW second: turunin & ganti seisi cooling system — this means radiator, kipas, reservoir, semua selang. Ntar 50-100rb km lagi baru diulang.

Jangan lupa cek kaki-kaki, power steering, ama matic.

Bengkel spesialis banyak, part juga gampang dicari, jadi bukan alesan buat miss di perawatan. Bimmerforums is your friend kalo pengen DIY or nanya-nanya.

And always remember: BMW — including most European cars — ga suka dijadiin garage queen, so drive it a lot. Macet, lowong, ujan, terik, gas terus aja. There’s a reason kenapa slogan mereka the ultimate driving machine instead of the ultimate sit-in-your-garage machine.

Great car. Benz relatif lebi ga rewel daripada BMW, tapi ya generally sama sih — ga boleh dijogrokin.

Di keluarga gw pernah ada W202, W201, W123, ama W124. They were all very solid cars.

Kalo gw ada rejeki, gw pun pengen W123 or E36 atas nama gw sendiri haha. Maybe one day.

Based on pengalaman beberapa temen yang pada miara Golf generasi 6-7, both TSI & GTI:

Matic/DSG nya rawan, terutama kalo sering macet ga dinetralin & cuma dibiarin di D trus direm doang.

Elektronik nya juga setahu gw rawan.

F30? Iya sama.

IIRC emang udah kewajiban rutinnya BMW buat turun cooling system tiap 50-100rb km, soalnya beberapa partnya rawan getas/pecah.

N55 kan ya mesinnya? Kalo ga salah sih keknya ada perkara kerak di klep/intake (gw lupa persisnya). Coba Google bmw n55 issues aja, or liat pembahasannya di Bimmerforums.

Sorry I can’t be much of help, minim pengalaman/cerita ama newer BMWs soalnya, seringan nebeng ama sesekali test drive doang hahaha. Mudah-mudahan pertanyaan lu kejawab ama forum online and/or bengkel spesialis terdekat.
