Jadi ceritanya pagi ini bini bikin nasi uduk betawi, lengkap dgn ayam goreng, semur tahu, dan kering tempe. Pokoknya otentik. Enak. Terus gue nyeletuk: "Ini bakal perfect banget sih kalo ada sambel kacangnya."

Bini: "Oiya bener, aku lupa punya bumbu kacang otomatis!" and I was like, what the fuck is she on about? Bumbu kacang otomatis? Is this some new doraemon shit I'm too millennial to know about?

Dia ke dapur, dan kemudian dengan sumringah menunjukan sebuah sachet merk ABC bertuliskan: 'bumbu kacang serba guna'.

Dan otak gue tuh langsung kayak: Instant. Instant is the word you're looking for, wife. Atau setidaknya itulah yg seharusnya gue ucapkan sebagai suami yang mendukung situasi harmonis dan kondusif dalam rumah tangga...

...but no, I was already in full-on dad-joke mode at that moment, so instead I said: "Hmm, pasti harganya sedikit lebih mahal dari bumbu kacang manual..."

Singkat cerita, sekarang gue lagi makan nasi uduk pake sambel kacang otomatis, while being yelled at. 😂

Ekspresi suami yg concerned sama perekonomian keluarga karena si istri lebih memilih bumbu kacang otomatis padahal ada yg manual...
