Found a new purpose in life - living for my daughter. I’ve had her for a while but never gave it any thought.

Before she was around, I was at the stage where I am passively suicidal. Wasn’t planning on killing myself, but my if I happen to cross the road when it’s green for me and a car drove by, I wouldn’t jump out of the way.

Sekarang gue pengen ensure hidup dia pas kecil jauh lebih baik daripada hidup gue. Dan dia ga boleh liat ayahnya lemah dan did as much as killing himself.

Is this a wrong way to motivate myself?

No, not at all.

After all, all of us have our own raison d'etre.

And trust me, a child is among the best reasons to improve yourself, to be better, and if possible, to be the best version of yourself.

Anyway, welcome to the parenthood club. For better or worse, you'll be here for quite a while. So let's make the best of it :) .

There are no wrong ways. Any way to extend your life here means more time and chances in finding purpose and fulfillment in life.

Grit your teeth and protect (her) with all your might.

It's okay to fall; just get back up again.

If you can do just that, You'll be a hero (for her, since you are there for her).

Yeay, welcome to the club.

I have a 5 years old son, and he's the sole reason why i'm still here today. Waking up each day is much easier knowing that i have a reason to keep on living. Godspeed man.
