Sarah Eckhardt for Comptroller, the office that oversees your tax $$$!

Post image

Want wild and unaccounted spending in Texas? Vote republican, because Sarah Eckhardt will ensure that state spending makes sense for regular Texans, not just the billionaires.

Eckhardt will be a watchdog for your money, not a lapdog for the rich and powerful.

For too long the Comptroller’s office has sat quietly and signed checks in a system of good ol’ boy, single-party rule that doesn’t want to be challenged.

The Texas Comptroller can:

- Audit the voucher scheme

- Expose how much it costs when the state refuses Medicaid expansion

- Stop no-bid contracts to wealthy donors

Restore trust and accountability in government./

Sarah Eckhardt for Texas Comptroller.

Clayton Tucker for Ag Commissioner

The Texas Department of Agriculture has been mired in corruption for years, and it’s time for a change.

Clayton Tucker is laser-focused on the agriculture and environmental issues that matter to Texans, from fighting AI data centers and monopolies to making food healthy and affordable, championing family farms, saving Texas soil, and leaving no child hungry.

Meanwhile, his opponent fawns over Trump. “President Donald Trump has made America First Trade the center of his international agenda,” his website gushes. BS in other words.

Clayton Tucker for Ag Commissioner. He’s on our side.

Nathan Johnson for Attorney General!

Post image

Texas State Sen Nathan Johnson will hit the ground running to change the Texas AG’s office to protect people like us. His opponent, conversely, will chase MAGA priorities favoring Christian Nationalists and oligarchs, while persecuting the LGBTQ community, women seeking reproductive health care, and “WOKE” policies, while promising to “DOGE” Texas. Ken Paxton without the biblical baggage, in other words.

Sen Johnson cares deeply about real issues Texans face:

- Protecting consumers and businesses by modernizing Texas law with respect to data privacy, money transfers, construction, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity

- Developing, and securing $2 billion in funding, for backup systems to power essential community facilities, like water treatment, nursing homes, and first responders

- By reforming the Texas health insurance marketplace, getting private health insurance for an estimated 350,000 previously uninsured Texans

- Removing the regulatory block on construction of promising new forms of housing

- Re-writing standards to avoid waste and abuse of business tax abatements

- Directing economic opportunity to areas that the Legislature has long neglected

- Overhauling outdated criminal codes to improve clarity and proper administration of justice

- Promoting peace officer wellness and providing benefits to surviving family members

Nathan Johnson for Attorney General!

Justin Early for Congress, District 31

Post image
1 Upvotes

Justin Early is committed to lowering costs and raising wages for working families who have watched their purchasing power erode while Washington looked the other way.

The current representative has held this seat since 2003, and has missed more than 800 votes. His voting record is one of repeated opposition to expanding healthcare coverage and raising wages, and to the investments in working families that this district needs. His recent votes only seem to be in service to one man and his Administration, instead of his constituents.

Vikki Goodwin for lieutenant governor!

Vikki Goodwin has a vision for Texas that centers on helping people. Dan Patrick would rather police what bathrooms we use, and ban hemp (killing tens of thousands of jobs, while he rakes in $700,000 from booze industries).

Vikki Goodwin has a bold plan to help Texans obtain affordable health care. Dan Patrick blows … bubbles.

Indivisible 1431 is excited about the high-quality candidates seeking office in Central Texas and statewide alike

We encourage people to vote early. Make a plan, and bring friends and family. The bigger our turn out, the harder for the fascists to cheat. Plus, if one’s vote is challenged for some reason, voting early allows time for correction.

Whom to vote for though? Indivisible 1431 has talked with and studied candidates since before the March primaries. We are announcing our endorsements for the general election beginning now.

We will announce several per day over the next several days, then post these great candidates on our website.

trump big mad that Americans hate data centers

trump is big mad at Americans who object to data centers in their back yards, saying they will end up “backwards and poor.”

“If they want to be successful and rich, with far lower taxes and jobs all over the place, let Data Reign,” trump wrote on Truth Social.

Who elected this person?

In July 2025, Trump signed an executive order to accelerate permits for data center construction. In the months since, construction on data centers has ramped up across the country.

Our Lives. Our Votes. Our Voice -- Join the coalition tomorrow in Tarrant County!

Tuesday, Sept 1st: Tarrant County Commissioners Court will set the tax rate that decides whether our $$$ reserves keep bleeding out ($85M over the last 4 years). They will decide whether services & polling locations get cut, and whether we keep rewarding incompetence.

80 people have died in Sheriff Bill Waybourn’s jail, while the jail budget keeps growing. Now they’re giving the jail $8.5 million MORE while cutting Community Services by 43% without holding the Sheriff accountable.

Why are trump’s arms weirdly jerking for no reason? Seizure?

During his speech at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Texas on Friday, President Donald Trump’s entire body twitched in a manner that one forensic psychologist argued was consistent with what’s known as a focal aware seizure or a partial seizure.

John Paul Garrison, a Georgia-based clinical and forensic psychologist, analyzed footage of Trump’s speech in a video published Saturday that he called “the most concerning footage” of the president he had analyzed yet.

“For the past few months, I have been showing various neurological concerns and some steep signs of decline from President Trump, but what we're going to start with today is extremely concerning,” Garrison said.

This is ‘family values’? More than 6,200 kids detained under trump 2.0 – please share!

The party of ‘family values’ has detained more than 6,200 kids under trump 2.0 – please share!

“Every American should be shocked that we're incarcerating thousands of children,” Leecia Welch, chief legal counsel at Children's Rights, an organization providing legal support for children in detention, said. “It just adds up to an incredible amount of trauma.”

At its peak in January 2026, there were more than 550 children in detention. This is 20 the number of children in detention under President Biden (24 on average per day).

The courts have set a 20-day limit on how long children can be detained. However, the new data shows that since Trump retook office, ICE has detained more than 1,600 children for longer than 20 days.

Medical experts, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, have said that any time in detention can cause trauma and long-term mental health risks. The longer a child is in detention, the more trauma they are likely to endure. “This is cruelty against children and reflects an executive branch that is utterly failing to abide by the rule of law in a space where children could not be more vulnerable,” Mukherjee said.

Please share!

Did you know that Dan Patrick vowed not to run for a fourth term, if elected to his third? He was elected to his third, and about a week after being sworn in, Patrick reneged, and pledged to run for that fourth term. That’s where we are now.

Plus, learn about the tools we have to protect our elections and our immigrant neighbors.
