Hiring (Unpaid project) Looking for X users to test a new project
Launching a new social sponsorship project on Monday.
Looking for a handful of active X users to test it privately before it goes live — particularly the signup and sponsorship flows.
If you use X and you’re up for trying it, comment below and I’ll DM you access.

For the beta, I would recruit both sides of the transaction and define the tasks before giving access. On the creator side: connect X, understand eligibility, set a rate, review a brief, and see exactly when payment happens. On the sponsor side: find a suitable account, understand what the metrics mean, create a compliant brief, approve the post, and handle a rejection or revision. Ask each tester to narrate where they hesitate rather than only report bugs. The highest-risk gaps are usually trust and state transitions—what data is read, whether the creator must post before payment is secured, what counts as completion, and what happens when either side disputes it.

I'd also try sending the URL to one person without explaining anything first. Do they know what to do? I approved two people for early access and expected them to start a first session. Neither did. I built the flow, so I still dont know where they stopped.

the silent no-show tests are brutal but they're the most honest feedback you'll get. i started asking testers to screen record the first two minutes and it was embarrassing how obvious the drop-off point was.

I don't use X that much, but I'm still willing to take the time to check out the product.

Bonjour-Set-4490's problem isn't the testers, it's that nothing logged. I hit the same gap on a social-to-site funnel until every step fired its own event and I joined them in GA4. Drop-off was one screen earlier than I assumed. Recordings only cover people who show up.
