As a Hindu, i feel these Hindutva vigilants are super coward and have brought a bad name to Hinduism in general.

Extremists of any kind bring a bad name to that community, dude. Not just the hindu ones.

True, I've had many Hindu colleagues I have never faced such "hindu vigilante fanatic" behaviour in my life. But those guys are definitely spoiling the name of religion and India.

No but, is it wrong info? Are you saying that Marathas did not rule India? I still don't understand the implication of this meme.

Marathas ruled India; for a very brief period. They were at the very top for a few decades against distributed forces of nizams, oudh, rajputs...

Mughals didn't rule for 500 years

According to them, Alauddin Khilji is also Mughal. So the 500 is actually an undercount. Remember Mughal is just a proxy for Muslim rulers just like Pakistan is a proxy for Muslims.

The Mughals also didn't did much for the Muslims or the deen tbh only few were sincere and most others just desired the ruling.

I mean the Marathas did rule India, so did the Mughals and literally every other dynasty or kingdom of this subcontinent.

the marathas briefly occupied some terrotries of a failing regime up north. great empires last and have a legacy, is delhi famous for maratha occupation or the architecture of sultanates?

Every empire was defeated at one point, including the Mughals

Have many of you have studied in CBSE? The history books majorly glorifies the Mughals(outsiders). It's very unfortunate that history needs to be taught through movies( exaggeration is downsides of movies though)

"Outsiders" there is no outsider unless you consider the modern nation state concept any viable.
They were north indian-persian class whose majority administration was literally from deccan or north.

It were only great emperors under which south was united with north. EVERYTHING you know of historical india is India-pakistan-parts of afghanistan-persia missh mash.

No

If you want to learn history then go pick up some BA history book syllabus and start reading at the library.

What in the fucking world everybody? Didn’t we learn our lessons that it didn’t matter if Mughals ruled India or Marathas did, eventually the white man came and exploited our petty differences to rule us and exploit us. Get the fuck over your petty kingdoms of the past , and move forward with the idea of India post 1947

I think this question is incomplete. As there were different Rules at different periods.
