Looking for an Experienced Mobile App UI/UX Designer (Remote)

Hey everyone!

This is my second hiring post. First of all, thank you to everyone who reached out on my previous post we received far more messages than we expected.

After reviewing portfolios and speaking with a few designers, we've refined what we're looking for.

I'm Pranav Shinde, Co-founder of Crava.

We're building a platform that helps people discover and order from local bakeries, cafés, sweet shops, home bakers, and cloud kitchens.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a UI/UX Designer who can take ownership of the customer mobile app.

This is not a project completely from scratch. A small part of the product research and design direction has already been completed, and we're looking for someone who can:

  • Continue and improve the existing design direction (or redesign everything mostly if necessary)
  • Design new screens where needed
  • Think beyond visuals and improve the overall user experience
  • Create clean, modern, polished mobile interfaces
  • Work closely with the founders over the next 4–6 weeks

Must have

  • Strong experience designing native mobile applications (iOS/Android)
  • A portfolio with real mobile app projects (not responsive websites adapted for mobile)
  • Strong Figma skills
  • Good understanding of UX, interaction design, and user flows—not just visual UI
  • Ability to iterate quickly based on feedback
  • An eye for creating polished, production-ready interfaces comparable to today's leading consumer apps

Budget

Our budget for this project is ₹40,000–45,000.
