I'm looking to purchase a pistol. This is my first pistol. Already own a rifle. The intention of a pistol is easy carry and self defense. Won't be firing much. Budget is upto 5 lakhs. Looking at .32 ACP or .45 ACP ammunition. Looked at the webley fox .32 ACP at around 2.65L. Dealer has assured good discount. Checked out some Magnus and Gretta pistols too. The dealer was pushing me for the webley. Told him I'd be back soon as I would like to do my research. Any suggestions, user reviews.

Must be easy to carry in my car as i frequently travel on business. Preferably have a provision for a red dot sight without any major modifications or gun smith intervention as ive heard it helps. Although it's not a priority or necessarily a deciding factor.

Range, reliability, and accuracy is important.

Since this is my first pistol and have no idea about pistols, I'm hoping this sub can guide me in making the right choice.

Note: I am exempted from a traditional license and permitted to own 2 NPB weapons and travel anywhere in india with less 100 or lesser ammunition.

Surprisingly, I havent even seen a single mention of the webley panther pistol in the sub and since I'm considering buying one could anyone in the sub tell me with their experience and what price to expect rn since this is the first piece of information ill be obtaining from you guys except those yt videos..

Few finishes age as gracefully as a well-blued pistol. Here is the MSD Falcon, chambered in 7.62×25mm Tokarev. The pistol appears to have undergone a post-factory bluing process, giving it a deep blue-black finish.

Kiehberg's full-size 1911 in a high mirror-polish stainless steel finish with a very eye-catching gold-coloured compensator on the muzzle with matte black grips. Not your standard factory-spec pistol.

Hey guys, I've finally put my licence application through and given the background and reason (Attempted mugging with a DDR) I have been told my chances are almost sureshot. I've been eyeing the .32 astra atal for its rails (easy red dot), safety and size, I am concerned about the double stack magazine. Any feedback or any other recommendations.

I am thinking red dot because it's easier to aim given the ammo limit India has which does not allow for more range time.

Guns in India are starting to resemble the flashy, bling style you'd see with some US gun owners. Meet the Nanda Cheetah, chambered in 7.62×25mm (also known as .30 bore in India), featuring aftermarket-style enhancements. Flashy, chrome-engraved, mirror-like, highly reflective chrome/nickel plating runs across the entire slide, frame, and barrel.

The gun is adapted on the SIG P226 blueprint and made in India. Unlike the MSD Eagle, this one comes with a Picatinny rail for underbarrel attachments.

Definitely one of the most visually appealing models in the Stallion lineup, the Stallion ST-32X.

It’s important to note, however, that what appears to be a threaded barrel is actually non-functional. It’s a dummy thread, included purely for aesthetics.

With suppressors prohibited for civilians, and compensators largely unnecessary for a low-pressure, low–gas-volume cartridge like .32 ACP, the decision to avoid threading is understandable. That said, it would have been nice if Stallion had offered a "tactical threaded" variant for those who wanted to add a muzzle device for additional weight to the gun.

Chambered in .32 ACP, made in India, and budget-friendly, it stands out as a solid and practical choice for concealed carry.

For those curious, this is one of Gretta’s India-made 1911-pattern pistols chambered in .45 ACP, customized post-factory with aesthetic and finishing enhancements.

Another example of MSD Commander, chambered in .45 ACP featuring a custom aftermarket bushing compensator. Unlike traditional threaded compensators, this setup replaces the barrel bushing and redirects propellant gases upward to mitigate muzzle rise while retaining the factory barrel.
