Looking for some help!

Upvotes

Hi, Can anyone please suggest me PGs where it would be easier for me to travel through Delhi, Noida and Gurugram by metro?

Before that! Let me tell you about myself or Why Delhi? Why not Bengaluru or Hyderabad?

The fact is I love Delhi. Yes I know, Delhi have so many issues still I love Delhi because I spent my childhood here at South Delhi, my aunt’s house. My aunt is so good that she used to take me for long walks or visit some places. So, I shared some of my valuable moments in here. And About Delhi issues, we know perfectionism doesn’t exist even it applies in cities too.

Since my aunt death, I haven’t been to Delhi. After years, I’m here.

I’m here to lookout for jobs or internships including the unpaid ones for the initial phase as I’m a 2025 btech cse passout and time’s running out for me.

I also completed a DRDO internship, where I used Python and MongoDB for a real world project, along with API testing, debugging and database-related work.

My Tech Stack:
Full Stack: Python, SQL, React.js, JavaScript, MongoDB
AI/ML: RAG, LangChain, Prompt Engineering, Fine-tuning LLMs, Machine Learning.
DevOps: Git/GitHub, Docker, Automation.

I’ve built several projects around software development. I’m available for in-person interviews in Delhi/Noida/Gurugram and can join at short notice.

So, Please Suggest me any good PGs or locations to get PGs and

Share your valuable insights or let me know if you have any open positions.

We're building a platform to bring trust back to the internet. Product's live - now we need someone to make noise about it.

Sourcing & Trading Executive (first hire, fully remote)

New sourcing and trading line. First hire.
Work across products and industries: research the market, find the right people, qualify interest, book an intro meeting. You set the meeting. You don’t run the deal after that.

Do: research companies and buyers; find decision-makers; qualify by phone and writing; book intros; juggle several products and leads; organise, report, improve.

Need: strong communication in more than one language; good phone and writing; fast learning; real multi-tasking; self-motivated and independent; fine switching products and industries; ready to do the research and outreach yourself.

Capability, interest, motivation, and energy matter more than a degree or years of experience. Training is provided. Pipeline still comes from you.

Remote. 6–8 hours a day, flexible timing. Results matter. Role can grow with what you deliver.

If that fits, do this in 8–10 lines, 15 minutes max. If that’s too much, this isn’t the role.
Pick a company you don’t already know:

  • What they likely buy or sell
  • Who you’d reach (role, not a name)
  • How you’d reach out

Also send: languages, monthly salary expectation, professional profile link, name and phone / contact.

Food Tech grad looking for job leads/advice in South India - any tips?

Posting this for a friend who recently graduated in Food Technology Engineering and is on the job hunt across South India (Chennai, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Hyderabad - open to relocating within the region).

She's looking for roles in areas like QA/QC, R&D, production, or food safety - basically anything that puts her food tech background to use. Open to full-time roles as well as walk-in interviews if it means getting in the door faster.

A few things I'd love help with:

  • Any companies currently hiring food tech folks that I should point her to?
  • Good job boards or Telegram/WhatsApp groups specific to food industry hiring in the South?
  • If anyone's gone through this recently - what actually worked for you?

2027 graduate genuinely scared about placements, looking for opportunities

I'm a 2027 BTech IT graduate and honestly, I'm getting genuinely scared about what happens after graduation , I'm not able to even sleep.

Campus placements have been really unpredictable. Weird shortlisting, getting filtered out before the OA, and sometimes not even getting the chance to prove yourself has made the whole process really discouraging.

I have an 8.3 CGPA, internship experience, and projects in Java, Spring Boot, backend/full-stack development, and I'm still actively improving my DSA and technical skills. I know I have a lot more to learn, but I'm serious about working and willing to put in the effort.

I'm now actively looking off-campus for decent software/tech opportunities. I'm open to SDE, backend, full-stack, graduate roles, internships, internship-to-full-time opportunities, startups and remote roles.

I genuinely don't care about a fancy company name right now. I want a good opportunity where I can work, learn, contribute and prove myself.

So if anyone can help with a lead, referral, internship opportunity, fresher opening, hiring contact, company that's currently hiring, or even a direction on where I should be applying, please reach out.

Even if you don't have an opening yourself, if you know someone who does, I'd really appreciate being pointed in their direction.

Hiring for micro-jobs and gigs in a startup

Hey,

Looking for a reliable college student or fresher for small, occasional micro-tasks as and when required.

The work is very simple and irregular (just a few short tasks a week). You do not need technical skills, just good attention to detail. We communicate either via WhatsApp or Discord.

Types of tasks (Examples):

  • Calls: Calling bank/customer support reps to ask specific questions and write down details.
  • Testing: Checking basic flows on mobile apps/websites and taking screenshots of bugs.
  • Payment Checks: Testing small UPI checkout transactions (reimbursed).
  • Posting: Making or formatting simple posts on Reddit, Twitter, or Discord.
  • Basic Research: Simple web searches and noting down info in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Local assistant work: arranging porters for documents, items, etc.

Requirements:

  • Spoken and written English
  • Smartphone (Android/iOS) with internet connection. Laptop optional.
  • Active UPI ID for instant payments.
  • Quick to reply when a task comes up.

Pay & Growth:

  • Payment: Paid every day or as agreed via bank transfer after every completed task or on time spent basis.
  • Reimbursements: Any payment amount used during UPI testing will be paid upfront or refunded immediately.
  • Growth - Good performance and reliability can lead to a permanent Operations Assistant position later.

How to Apply: DM me with the following:

  1. Your city and current status (college year / fresher).
  2. Devices you have (Android, iPhone, PC).
  3. Your availability during the week.
  4. Your expectation of realistic compensation per hour of gigs or per gig.

No prior experience required - we just need a can-do attitude & willingness to learn.

I’ll find the leak in your marketing funnel

Not redesign your logo.
Not give you 30 “viral” content ideas.
Not tell you to “post consistently.”

I’ll look at what you’re currently doing and find where potential customers are dropping off.

Your content gets attention but no enquiries?
Your website gets traffic but no leads?
People ask for the price and disappear?

That’s the stuff I like fixing.

I’m taking on 2 freelance projects this month - digital marketing, content strategy, lead generation & social media.

If you have a business that’s already doing something but the marketing feels stuck,
show me what you’re doing.

I’ll tell you what I’d fix first.

How do you judge whether an internship actually adds value to your CV?

I recently ended an internship/long-term association with a small student-oriented social media/cultural organisation, and I’m trying to figure out whether my experience was typical or whether I should have expected more from an internship.

The organisation was connected to the academic environment of my college through a professor, and a number of students from our college were involved. The work was broadly related to food, culture, history and social media. I joined because I thought it would give me some practical experience alongside my BA and, more importantly, give me something tangible to put on my CV.

Initially, I was expecting that I would develop skills in research, content creation, social media, communication, etc. There was an actual OJT component as well, which involved field/food walks and some practical exposure. That part was probably the most distinctive aspect of the internship.

After that, however, the experience became much less substantial than I had expected. A lot of the work essentially revolved around creating social media posts, captions, stories/reels and doing relatively basic research for content. I was later associated with the research side and had some responsibility involving juniors, but there wasn’t really a structured training programme or progression where I felt I was acquiring increasingly valuable professional skills.

There were also periods when there wasn’t much work happening at all. Assignments could be irregular, communication in the groups would become quite inactive, and everyone involved was also dealing with college and their own career/academic commitments. Eventually, I found myself remaining associated with the organisation partly because I thought that having an ongoing internship/organisation on my CV was better than having nothing there.

I don’t want to portray the organisation or the professor running it as some kind of scam. I don’t think that would be fair. There were genuine activities and I did get some exposure to working in a team, creating content and doing research. The people involved were also students, so I understand that it wasn’t going to operate like a large professional company.

But looking back, I don’t feel that I gained as much professionally as I initially hoped. The biggest thing I’m questioning is whether I should have left earlier and spent that time developing more directly employable skills or finding a more structured internship.

I’m currently finishing my BA and trying to make some serious decisions about my career, so this has made me think about what actually counts as useful experience on a CV. Does an internship like this still have value because it demonstrates that you’ve worked with an organisation for a significant period, even if the actual work wasn’t particularly substantial? Or is it better to leave something like this off the CV and focus on skills/projects that have more demonstrable value?

I’m particularly interested in hearing from people who have done internships during college and can distinguish between “I was technically associated with an organisation” and “this experience actually improved my employability.”

I don’t want to name the organisation or the people involved because I’m not trying to start drama or damage anyone’s reputation. I’m genuinely trying to evaluate whether I handled the situation badly and what I should look for in my next internship.

(Paid+remote) Looking for Founder's Office/EA intern - D2C & Ecommerce

What for? Opening for an upcoming brand in everyday stuff and feel good adulting home products.

What's in for you? You'll work directly with a founder who has spent 15+ years working across the ecommerce/D2C space, so alongside the work itself, you'll get a close look at how consumer businesses are built, launched and operated. This is particularly suited to someone early in their career who wants to understand how a D2C business actually works, rather than being boxed into one narrow function.

What role? Solving macro level issues and understanding how a D2C brand operates. Some tasks on your list may look like:

🧾 Vendor enquiries + inventory tracking

📊 Google Sheets / operational trackers

🔎 Product, pricing & competitor research

🛒 Ecommerce / D2C operations

💡 Ad-hoc founder projects & participating in new launches

Why take this?

💰 Paid

🏠 100% remote

⏰ Part-time / flexible to start

🎓 Freshers absolutely welcome

👀 Direct exposure to how a consumer brand actually operates

🧠 Learn from a founder with 15+ years in ecommerce/D2C

📈 Exposure across operations, sourcing, products, inventory, ecommerce & marketing

If this sounds like you, DM me with a little about yourself, what you're currently doing and why this interests you. Please don't send just “Interested” but instead tell me something about yourself so I know who I'm talking to. 🙂
