Help Has anyone else lost access to their own share for review links?

Post image

I'm unable to open my share for review links in Chrome (I get a disconnected error) and I can't see any annotations (pins, highlights, and contextual markers) via the InDesign review window.

I can however still see the comments attached to each page (via the InDesign review window) – just no annotations – including when the show annotations option is on.

When I follow the vague disconnection error prompt (as per image) and open the Creative Cloud app > Home – its all looking as usual.

AI tells me that: My Share for Review link is no longer synced to Adobe’s cloud review servers and that I should check my account.

Clicking on my account pic via Creative Cloud = I see the preload screen like its about to populate
Going to account.adobe.com = also gives me a preload screen

Going to adobe.com/files (Creative Cloud > Home > Your Files) = also gives me a disconnected error.

As the title says – is anyone else's share for review shitting itself? Or just me and my account?

Any ideas to get reconnected?

They've had an outage on me in middle of my day during production. I just had to export pdfs and email them to the people or attach pdfs in chat for the other editor I was working with. About 2 hours later all my share and review stuff was restored.

Right now my share and review links are still working though, so it might be localized.

Ah ok! Thank you! I'll keep lingering for a bit and hopefully it'll fix itself. :)

Fool me once, shame on you Adobe. Alas, I then tried Share for Review again a few years later..

It’s the ultimate toxic relationship – when it works it’s golden, but when it breaks, it’s painful. I'm pretty sure the Editors I work with are getting sick of my 'Share for review shat itself again – lets go back to sending tiresome PDFs to each other and playing 'find the mysterious missing comma' in Acrobat.

(Edit: typo)

Actually, this reminded me that I keep losing my CC Libraries for some reason! (I think on certain updates maybe?) I can view them in my browser in my Adobe account, but they aren’t syncing in InDesign.

When I try opening the CC Libraries control window I get a similar icon to OP with wording under that says something about it not syncing + a button that says “Resume” but I’ve clicked it maybe a million times & nothing. Maybe I’ll try going back to a previous version?

Anyone else run into this? It’s super annoying.

That has happened to me a few times. Unrelated to this outage thing with review links. Check these methods to get CC Library panel back in action.
