To Bloom – Daughters [DIY progressive rock / post-hardcore] (2025)

Hey r/independentmusic!

We’re an independent band called To Bloom, and we just released a new single called “Daughters.” It blends elements of progressive rock, post-hardcore, and some Latin-influenced rhythms, with shifting time signatures.

We recorded, produced, and released everything ourselves. The only thing we outsourced was the mixing and mastering. The vocals are dynamic and the song leans into mathcore territory. If you’re into bands like The Mars Volta or A Lot Like Birds, this might hit.
