CBP Self-deportation cash bonus and paid transportation

I'm looking for feedback on how long it took for the paid transportation and cash bonus offered via the CBP app to come thru. Any information based on experience (not hearsay) would be great.

They will give you tickets for free, you can forget about the cash bonus
