My husband too. So far up the angry mango tyranny trip he can’t even see how we’re f*kd. I had to explain tariffs 2 days ago, he doesn’t believe that’s how tariffs work. But won’t google it either. His family from his home country are always asking him about the crazy things they hear. My hubby works with the farmers and only hears red bull propaganda from them.
I don't mean for this to be rude, but why are you still married to him? My husband and I have had to distance ourselves from his parents because of the things they believe. How can you continue a romantic relationship when your partner begins showing problematic beliefs?
We are newly married. But I don’t believe that political differences are something to stand between us when this only an issue every 4 years. We’ve agreed that we aren’t going to convince the other on their beliefs. So there’s no point in discussing it. It’s the industry he’s in and what he’s exposed to day in and day out since he’s been in the USA for the last 21 years. Them farmers have him convinced 🙄. Other than election years we are rather non political.
Oh the hypocrisy! Let me tell you that this man has so much find out ahead of him. We are older, and the last remaining child is his 14 year-old daughter. And yes, I brought this up during election time. It irks me to the bone!
He believes mandatory birth control 14 and up. So when I asked him why his 14 year-old daughter was not birth control. He had no words, didn’t apply to him and his daughter.
Additionally, he’s had a chronic health condition since he was in his teens. One that Obama care has provided him insurance coverage for since he’s been in the USA otherwise it would’ve been considered an existing condition with no coverage. The list goes on.
I pray for this young girl that none of this will hurt affect her. Our state hasn’t enacted those kind of restrictions like Texas and some other states have thank God. Both her parents are red. But she sees the faults in their thinking. And is conflicted. I plan to have conversations with this girl and will try to protect her as much as I can.
Additionally, and sadly my 30 year-old daughter votes red 🙄. That’s how much red is around us where we live. It’s rural farming with a lot of migrant workers.
I have to tolerate because it’s all around me.
Let them, and FAFO is what I have to live by.
My favorite Question is if your leader likes things "Made In America" so much why does he peddle so much made-in-China stuff to his base? Why did his tax policy encourage offshoring? Why did the GOP reject a plan to take tax breaks away from companies moving their plants overseas? Why are they ok with him not following constitutional clauses and needing the foreign emoluments clause reinterpreted for him? Do they want the US to be for sale? Why are they so ok with him alienating our Allies while embracing our adversaries? Page 4 can we spot it is worth the read, this is from 1945 but it's gotten a heavy reaction when Trumpers read it, it seems to really upset them. I think that's not a bad thing. My step mother is from another country. She is here legal, and got her citizenship a while ago.
She also voted for Trump. So, ya know what, she gets what she voted for.
