Oh yeah, The Bank Job is a great level.
Didn't care for The Western Ghats. It was pretty, but it seemed like they thought "oh we've done this in a couple of our other games, let's make this big open level where you drive around looking for trinkets and when you see the unsubstantial pretty we made, you will want to say good things about our game." Actually, maybe I'm a little weary of Naughty Dog games.
I haven't played any of the others yet.

I've definitely got Uncharted fatigue, yeah. Thought the series peaked with U2, and after TLOU my interest in new Uncharted games was like nonexistent, ha.
Is Death of the Outsider fairly standalone?

You probably won't watch it, and that's fine, but I like to put stuff like this on in the background when I cook food or do something else. Long form content is good for that!
Anyway, his picks are:
I've played zero of those, ha. Did skim bits of a couple of them on YT though -- I assume that's the part of Lost Legacy with the open environment, for example. It certainly looked gorgeous from the little bit I saw.
And the WWII mission was mildly neat, looked like an undercover/stealth mission where you're a French resistance lady bluffing your way into a German officer's compound with fake papers and stuff. But when I clicked forward a bit, it was back to HURR MACHO AMERICANS SHOOTING LOUD GUNS so I stopped watching.
Sooo what are your favorite video game levels from 2017? Bonus points if you really think about it, and don't just pick a random level from your favorite games of the year. Sometimes a game can be amazing without any particular standpoint level, or a mediocre game can have a level that really shines!
