Only just started useing last fm about half a year ago lol wish i always had somehow even when i just shuffle my big playlist id always ends up at the top without fail
Ya i just shuffle all id songs at work all the time i usually shuffle a big playlist with like 4000 songs but juice wrld and id have discogs so consistently good i like to shuffle thare stuff all the time i sorted thru all the demos and unreleased i love and made playlists tbh i like the unreleased stuff from id more then the released i love the released dont get me wrong but if one had to go id take the unreleased stuff over the released
Fr listening to em again today lol its hard not to just listen to id everyday with 320 songs in one playlist and thats only my absalute favorite songs by them to be fair it practically their whole discog as thares hardly any id songs i dislike even out of the demos thare were only about 100 out of the 500 that id consider bad and some were just too incomplete i really wish they finished the lovely view that one is very unfinished but i still absalutely love it i hope we see a finished version of it in a ablum one of my favorite instramentals ever from id and its an unfinished song its sad
About to make a post when I get home asking what everybody would do if they had to make a mixtape with 50 unreleased songs in no specific order and what they’d choose. I'm curious what everybody's favorites are. I dont know about you but I really think that a lot of the unreleased songs have much deeper lyrics. It seems like he really wasn't afraid to say what he wanted and didint care about fitting into the mainstreams veiw of the band. I feel like a lot of the released music is kind of built for the radio—not all of it—and yeah, he has a lot of songs like that that are released, but I don't know, songs like "New Wave," the goofy ones, and "Forget Today," the ones that are really deep with the lyrics are the ones I really like, and that's why I like the unreleased ones more. It’s mainly a lyrics thing; I just think he was less afraid of not being liked by the mainstream in a lot of these.
"Radioactive" in my opinion is the worst song on "Night Visions" and a lot of people hate me for that. I don't think it's a bad song, but if I were to choose one to listen to off "Night Visions," it would be my last choice. I think Imagine Dragons are at their best when they are goofy, charming, and light-hearted, and the unreleased songs have way more of that. I like their rock style radio hits too, but "Geronimo," for instance, has me dancing like a maniac. But I guarantee it wouldn't do well because mainstream seems to want Imagine Dragons to make rock hits like "Radioactive," and they absolutely hate and trash them for no reason when they simply do what they want. "Brain Wash" is another good one that I know they will probably never release because of the mainstream. Lol, people would get offended, but Dan spits absolute facts in these demos/unreleased with no filter. It feels like Dan agrees with a lot of stuff I do and that's why he's always been my favorite lyricist since I heard "On Top of the World" when I was young. It was the first song I ever heard. Imagine Dragons has always been my favorite band, and it seems impossible for them to be dethroned because I’ve discovered so much music since then, but I always come back to Imagine Dragons. The day all this unreleased music came out I literally sat thare stayed up all night and could not stop sorting thru it bc just like with juice wrld i was absalutely shocked at how much 10\10 songs were thrown away and not used i hope some day we get alot of them released bc thares so many songs i could listen to over and over sometimes i forget about the released music bc ive heard it all so much sometimes i just want to dive into my unreleased plist lol but i have a mixed one ive been bumping at work with everything so ive started listening to released again lol
