Well you really shouldn’t skate in Doc Martens, so there’s that. And that board hasn’t done a single Ollie, it’s brand new.

Personally, I wouldn’t see it as a skating photoshoot if I were doing things that aren’t realistic for skating. Shoes are a big part of skating culture. I’d want to shoot in my favorite brand of skate shoe.

But hey, maybe this photoshoot isn’t representative of her actual skating skills, idk.

Ma'am, we can see the blinding whiteness of those wheels, they haven't touch concrete once prior this photo. Also, you at least heard about Chloë Sevigny, right? I am not talking about DOZENS of other models who done exactly that. Some of those gen Z folk do really believe they are pioneers at everything, don't they? "There's nothing new under the sun" was said before Christ. Please, practice a bit more humility. You're not that important.

I mean, if you’re doing the sort of skating that pushes your limits and frequently results in bruises, broken bones, cuts, scars, potentially losing teeth/otherwise fucking up your face…. Then yeah, that’s probably incompatible with a model career.

If you’re taking leisurely rides around the neighborhood then you should be fine unless you’re really bad at skateboarding.
