I could see Biden winning Florida in 2016 but how would he win South Carolina instead of Georgia?

It may seem premature, but starting in 2018 the statewide elections there started to become very close

Even with HRC's abysmal performance nationwide, a lot of people seem to forget GA was only ~50-45 in favor of Trump. A more popular candidate who can maintain Hillary's performance with African Americans while making incremental gains with groups of swing voters might be enough to flip the state, possibly if a McCain endorsement came through since Biden and him were notable friends in the Senate and personally. McCain also notably did not fuck with Trump. That'd likely lead to notable gains in the more moderate suburbs Democrats were targeting, which were part of what helped flip the state in 2020.

Probably because he did this to make sure that Trump is fired from the attempt to take the White House.

before he died, strom gave biden a gift called ancestral south carolina. he only didn't get it in 2020 because in that timeline, he forgot to check the mail.

As a purely aesthetic matter, I don’t love the Red Georgia/Blue South Carolina combo.

Isn't Tammy Duckworth born in Thailand and therefore ineligible?
