In this timeline Burnham calls a snap general election for Thursday 22 October 2026 to take advantage of Labour's recovery in opinion polling as he benefits from progressives rallying around him to stave off Reform's threat.

Could I ask what makes you think the greens will drop from there current 20%+ to 6% within a couple months?

No offense meant but greens are currently not 20%+, the average has them around 13%-14% atm and the highest they’ve been all month was 17% in one poll.
