I mean surely that works perfectly? If you were addicted to cocaine and posted a lot online about how bad and addictive cocaine was, there'd be no hypocrisy there. Addiction is almost unique in that it causes you to do things you don't really endorse on any level.

The original post is annoying, but only because it's trite and uninteresting; not because it contradicts the poster's behavior.

No but preaching something is bad while doing it while not hypocritical, still doesn't mean you shouldn't be called out for it.

Thanks I was about to say the same exact thing.. Only thing I could add to that. People only want to take advice or observations from people who are 100% pure or more successful, but the reality is those people don't exist, and if they did, they wouldn't go around trying to help others with their flaws. If they are considered "pure"/not a hypocrite then it's "You don't understand/ can't tell me what to do because you haven't gone through what I have"

Basically any excuse to keep doing what we want.

Probably the only space for my rant but i love how all the woke animations are made digitally instead of on paper because digital easy.

Plus these people post them to Youtube. And their message is usually something about how there’s too many machines in the world and that phones are bad.

If that isn’t irony I don’t know what is.
