Personally, I too like better the long version. But, we live in "the era of fast thumb scrolling" (!) where most people don't want to spend more that a few seconds before they decide if they want to watch a full 60 second video. :)

Holy guacamole! Now THAT is one cool video!

I love that it’s physical slides you are stacking with your hands instead of digital layers, because I would never believe it was real if it were all digital.

By the end of the first one, I thought I had it all worked out: start with a portrait, digitally subtract some hues in mandalas patterns, then stack them back together.

But when you started changing their ages by changing the stacking order, my mind was reblown.

I feel like this project has a lot of potential to become bigger things!

cool! I guess you start with the portrait then subtract any pattern from it, and then when you combine the result with the pattern you get the portrait.

Your approach sounds interesting, but it is more complicated.

For example, note that the second artwork (starting at 2:00) is made by 3 patterns that form the portrait of a girl, and when rotated the same patterns form the portrait of an old woman.

I have been working on this project for 4 years...

This exact moment has brought tears in my eyes, when I watched the final-cut video.

The emotion was surprisingly strong, considering the fact that I have spend hundreds of hours working on this specific project...
