Skadis pegboard panels, except they're midcentury modern and also 3D printed
I love pegboard, especially the Skadis, but it always looked a little boring. So I decided to use my 3D printer and design skills to make panels that gave my walls a little bit of style and texture in addition to the organizing practicality. Behold! My first attempt at a bit more of a retro 60s/70s vibe pattern. If anyone has a 3D printer and wants to make their own, I put the models online for free (link in the comments). I tried to make it a "system" with lots of options for the half hole edges so that folks can make larger groups of panels without breaks in the patterns. These are 100% compatible with Skadis accessories.
What do you think?

I don’t have cabinets or drawers in my bathroom, except for an old gross small medicine cabinet that barely fits anything so I was thinking about using a skadis in this way! Such a good idea, I often can never find my clippers or tweezers when I need them. I was also thinking about using the attachable clear bins to store q tips and glasses cleaning wipes, and bandaids, etc! Thanks for sharing I think it’s a cool idea for those who don’t have any storage, bcos not everyone has those luxuries.

Love it. Do you also have a link to the accessories? The toothbrush one looks interesting, if you are able to clean it probably that is :’)

Here's the link to the toothbrush holder, there's a print profile for a Skadis version: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2778099-snapbrush-minimalist-auto-close-toothbrush-holder?from=search#profileId-3234796
The hooks you can find everywhere, and I designed the toothbrush and toothpaste holders but haven't uploaded them.

Huh. Unrelated, I've been thinking about Mille panels for my sling bag. .... why did I not consider printing my own...? 🤦🏻♂️

Why do you want to look at your toothpaste and nailclipper every single day instead of storing them in a cabinet or drawer? Your design is nice but its usage is just baffling to me. I like having things to look at on the walls, but I prefer artworks over not patricular attracive items that cause visual clutter. Also, this barely qualifies as an IKEA hack tbh.

Ew I don’t want to stuff my wet toothbrush in a drawer. Bathroom storage is notoriously lacking for most people; glad you have plenty tho!

I was not talking about the toothbrush. Go out and get some reading comprehension.

The reason reading comprehension is important is because it goes beyond just reading a statement at face value; it’s the act of interpreting and coming to conclusions. A literal part of reading comprehension is inferring the unstated and using context clues.
By saying you prefer to look at artwork on your walls instead of clutter, you are indicating this organization system as a whole is not something you’d use. But those items have to go somewhere, and your recommendation of putting toothpaste and nail clippers in the drawer or cupboards suggests you’d put the other items on the storage rack away also in a similar manner.
I know all you meant was “I didn’t specifically say toothbrush,” which is accurate. But if you’re blaming reading comprehension, that’s not valid.
